I bought 9 eyeshadows from the brand Morphe. This was my first purchase from this brand and the haul was all about what “Youtube beauty gurus made me buy”. All the beauty bloggers gave good reviews to this brand and were impressed by the performance of the eyeshadows and the makeup brushes from it. Also, it is an affordable brand, so I decided to give it a try and went a little over board with the haul and also bought more than 20 makeup brushes and 9 eyeshadows, some of which I am still trying and testing and will review one by one.

My Experience with Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES68 I Heart You:
I love to wear eyeshadows on days when I wear makeup, which is at least 6 times a week. When I am in a rush, I don’t go overboard with blending different shades, but just brush a matte brown shade to prevent my lids from creasing. However, if eyeshadows are applied skillfully and with due diligence, it appreciably enhances overall beauty.
These single eyeshadows by Moprhe come securely packed in a hard cardboard case and all of them arrived safely without any damages. The product is pressed in an aluminum pan and I was glad to see that for a such low price, they provide generous amount of product. The pan is deeper than the usual single eyeshadows I purchase.
The color of the shade “I Heart You” is a matte magenta and has cool under tones. This can be worn all over the eye lid and can be blended into the socket. It can be combined with a brighter shade such as cobalt blue or neon green (saw one of the beauty gurus with that look and it looked amazing) although this is for those with more skill and are more daring with their makeup application. This can be applied in the outer corner of the eyes with a subtle transition shade in the crease. I apply this color with a flat brush and blend it into my eye socket with a large fluffy brush.
When I chose this color, I was expecting it to be a little darker and warmer like burgundy shade, but “I Heart You” shade is pinker and cooler than I would like to wear. It looks nice on my skin tone but does not appear as nice I have pictured it in my mind. Like I mentioned before, it is important to note that not every eye shadow color is meant for us. We need to be mindful of our skin tone, the kind of overall look we desire, the kind of skill and time we have and most of all if we feel confident enough to carry that look.
All the 9 Morphe eyeshadows that I bought are highly pigmented. They can be easily picked up with a dense bristle brush and packed on the eyelids. Another good feature is that they have minimal fall out and give a good wear time (they stay crease free for 6-8 hours). I tried wearing them for more than 10 hours, but the lighter shades creased and completely vanished. So, recommended wear time is 6-8 hours.
The product is decently priced and comes in a sturdy, round shaped aluminum pan and most important can be attached in a custom eyeshadow palette. I usually stick a magnet behind my single eyeshadow pans and attach them to an aluminum pencil case.
Pros of Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES68 I Heart You:
- Packaging is very sturdy and stays intact during shipping.
- Comes in a good sized aluminum pan. The product quantity is appreciable for the money paid.
- Cool toned magenta that will look pretty on most skin tones or those who like to wear shades on their lids.
- Highly pigmented, easy to apply with a flat brush and blend with a fluffy brush.
- Stays crease free for 6-8 hours.
- Morphe products are available internationally as well.
Cons of Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES68 I Heart You:
- This particular shade is too pink for me (I personally wanted a more burgundy shade).
- After 8-10 hours, it starts to crease and almost vanishes.
- It does have some fall out so I have to wear a loose powder under my eyes to prevent my makeup from getting ruined.
- For single eyeshadows, it is better to invest in a good empty eyeshadow palette to store them safely or DIY one for ourselves

Do I Recommend Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES68 I Heart You?
It is a lovely pink color that can be worn alone as well. It is affordable, comes in a study pan and is highly pigmented. I do recommend it to readers who love pink eyeshadows.
