MUA Blusher in Candyfloss Review
My first review was about MUA blusher shade Lolly from the new range of MUA’s 2013 blushers. Now, I am going to review the shade Candyfloss which has became my most used pink shade. Unfortunately, when I finished taking the snaps of the product, it fell by mistake from the terrace steps and broke!!

My Experience with MUA Blusher in Candyfloss:
MUA blusher Candyfloss comes in a small rectangular pan with a flip top transparent lid and fresh packs are perfectly sealed. The packaging is tiny and fits in the tiniest of purses and makeup bags. The packaging is not sturdy and breaks easily if drops (like mine did). But for £1, I have no complaints with the packaging.
The blush is a rosy shade of pink. The website describes it as a shade with shimmer but actually the golden colored shimmer is very fine, which does not show much on cheeks on application, instead adds a flush of colour to the cheeks. Overall, it adds dewy finish to matte face. The shade is perfect for day time and party makeup, to be combined with every shade of pink lipstick. It will compliment all skin tones.
The texture of the product is smooth and non-chalky. The blush is quite pigmented, so be careful with the quantity your blush brush picks up. Tap a little after the swipe to remove excess if your brush picks up good amount of the product. This one is easily blend-able. There is very little fall out in the pan, nearly negligible and for this price, the quality is commendable. With a primer/foundation, the blush goes on for at least 5 hours in hot and humid weather.
Pros of MUA Blusher in Candyfloss:
- Highly pigmented even at this price.
- The shimmer does not show much after application.
- Very less fallout in the pan.
- Smooth and non-chalky texture.
- Easy on pocket.
- Blends easily.
- Tiny travel-friendly packaging.
- Does not highlight fine lines.

Cons of MUA Blusher in Candyfloss:
- Needs a light hand while picking the right amount of the product.
- Need to be careful in handling so that you don’t drop and break it.
- Availability outside UK is through online only.
IMBB Rating:
4.5/5
