MUA Blusher in Shade 4 Review

MUA Blusher in Shade 4 Review

By Sonam Kumar

MUA is a very famous brand for the affordable price tag and the quality they provide, but it’s hard to find products from this brand in India.  When an online site was offering 40 percent off on this brand, I knew I had to get this. There are a total of 6 shades and I got two of them. Today, I will be reviewing MUA blusher in shade 4. Let’s move to the review to know more about this blush.

MUA blusher

£1 for 2.4 gm.

Product Description:

Part of our amazing £1 line, our blushers come in six shades. They range from pink and coral to deeper plums and natural nudes, so you’ll definitely find one that suits you the most! Just simply sweep across the apples of the cheek and up to the brow bone to create a soft yet beautiful contour.

My Experience with MUA Blusher in Shade 4:

MUA blusher comes in a black rectangular case with transparent lid on top. You can see the product without opening it and if you have many shades, it will be easily to locate.  I like the simple and no-nonsense packaging. The brand name is imprinted on the top and on the back – the shade number, ingredients and other details are listed. It doesn’t come with a brush or mirror but you cannot expect that at such a low price, right? The packaging is tiny and fits into the palm easily, so you can carry it while travelling as it isn’t bulky. Overall, I really like the packaging.

Shade 4 is a warm peach shade with pink undertones. The shade is universal flattering and it will suit all skin tones. The finish is matte and it also has very slight shimmer, but frankly speaking, they are hardly visible. Since the shimmer is not visible, one can wear it during the day easily without worrying about looking over the top.  The shade gives a nice healthy glow to the face and that is why I really love applying it. The shade looks very pretty and can be applied daily too.

The shade is immensely pigmented and the color applies quite sparingly to the cheeks. You don’t need several layers to see the color as one swipe is enough to get the desired color. Since the shade is pigmented, one needs to be careful as it’s easy to go overboard with it. If you are a newbie, then I would suggest you to be cautious while applying it. The texture is very smooth and not at all powdery. It blends easily with blush brush and doesn’t take much time in blending. It looks natural after application. MUA blusher is long lasting and it stays for 4-5 hours easily without using a base underneath. You can improve the staying power by applying a primer beneath.  I am quite satisfied with the staying power as 5 hours is very good considering the low price tag. I have oily skin, but it never broke me out or clogged my pores. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Summing up the pros and cons:

Pros of MUA Blusher in Shade 4:

  • Affordable price tag.
  • Nice quantity.
  • Blends easily.
  • Pigmented.
  • Gives matte finish.
  • Stays for 5 hours.
  • Doesn’t get patchy.
  • Not powdery.
  • Didn’t broke me out.

Cons of MUA Blusher in Shade 4:

  • Non-availability in India.

IMBB Rating:
