My experience with MUA Bronzer Shade #2:

Europeans and Americans are crazy about tanned look, so bronzer has an altogether different use over there as compared to here, in Asia, where we have already tanned skin tones and we can use bronzers to contour and add definition to our face.

Coming to the packaging, MUA pressed powder and MUA bronzer both come in same square transparent container, with no mirror and no applicator. The packaging is simple, yet doesn’t look cheap or brittle at all. Its travel-friendly, sturdy and not a delicate one [:p] It has MUA logo engraved in the powder which vanished due to my brush swirls.

Both the quality and quantity of the product are worth appraisal at this price. Product of 5.7grams would last you a long way ahead. However, I have love-hate relationship with the pigmentation of the bronzer. This is my first ever bronzer and with the first swatch, I was disappointed with the pigmentation [being a newbie towards bronzers]. But later when I started applying bronzer, I realised that a decent pigmentation is a blessing especially for a newbie, as it will not turn you into a tangerine with the first swipe. The best point is that it is a matte bronzer with very buildable color pay off. Yes! I mean it…the pigmentation is buildable…! It is a slightly warm toned shade with an orange hue sometimes [when tried to be built up] but good for cheek bones and jaw line. Being matte shade, it is good for adding some contouring to your face. The texture is creamy, smooth and glides on the skin. It doesn’t turns out to be chalky on colour built up. There is very little fall out in the pan, making it a non-messy product. There is no fragrance in it. It doesn’t clog pores and hasn’t broken me out. It stays on my combination skin for a good 3-4 hours at least with a foundation/BB bream underneath. Do remember it is not a sun-kissed bronzer; it’s a matte one so it is perfect for creating a shadow look to make the face look thinner.
MUA Bronzer Shade #2
It is not the best bronzer but definitely a good buy for beginners. I think it would be good for someone who maybe hasn’t tried a bronzer before and they don’t want to splash the cash with something they may not like. It will compliment most skin tones, and for £1 you can try it out. For me, this little gem has saved me a lot of cash!

For the second swatch, I had to literally force the product out of the pan and it required several harsh swipes for the color to show up in picture. When applied with brush, it is pretty mild so don’t be scared ladies!

Pros of MUA Bronzer shade-2:

• A matte shade with decent pigmentation.
• Just for £1, three shades to choose from (don’t buy shade -1, honestly)
• Smooth and creamy texture, also non-chalky.
• Buildable & bends easily.
• Great color pay-off.
• Travel friendly packaging.
• Doesn’t clog pores and cause breakouts.

Cons of MUA Bronzer shade-2:

• Gives a bit of orange hue on color built up.
• Availability outside UK is online only.

IMBB Rating:

4/5

Will I buy MUA bronzer again?

Yes when I am finished with this one. Also, I am going to try a sun-kissed bronzer or Benefit “hoola” bronzing powder, heard a lot about it.

My skin type:

Combination skin
