MUA English Rose Mosaic Blush Review

Hi Pretty Ladies,

The wedding season is approaching and there are so many wedding in my family. So, I hauled so many make up stuff for this wedding season. I picked two or three blushes too. Here is the review of the one. It is MUA English Rose Mosaic Blush. Lets see how it fared for me?

Product description: The Mosaic Blusher combines four gorgeous shades that when swirled together create the perfect natural blush shade. Grab a blush brush (we recommend MUA’s F6 Blusher and Contouring Brush) swirl around the compact so all the colour blend together and then simply apply to the apples of the cheekbones. Use a small amount for a natural look or build up for a more dramatic contoured look.

The reason why there are so many colours in one blush is to build up a better colour palette of pigmentation! All skin tones take different colours more prominently and by using them all in one go, it will adapt to suit your skin tone. This will look totally different on you and your BFF!

My Experience with MUA English Rose Mosaic Blush:

The blush palette is circular with a clear lid. The lid shuts with a click sound. The palette looks pretty. The mosaic pattern makes it an intriguing product. The palette is sleek, sturdy and travel friendly. Thumbs up, for such a cute and sturdy packaging.

The texture of the blush is soft and smooth but a little powdery which causes fallouts while applying the blush. The blush can be easily blended. It goes on very smooth. The palette has five different shimmery shades of blush arranged in a mosaic pattern. All the shades mix together to build up nice pink colour. It has a lot of shimmers in it. The shimmers are so fine and are not chunky.

This blush will suit so many skin tones. But it will not go well with darker skin tones. I tried it on my mum’s face and me. We have different skin tones but the blush looks pretty on both of us when just 2 swipes were applied. One or two swipe of this blush gives the lightest pink colour that gives a healthy and fresh glow to the face. The pigmentation is not intense. But it makes the face glow like a silver ball if you try to build up the colour. Hence, for me it works more as a highlighter than as a blush. It gives pearly pink finish.

So, it’s better to use it as a highlighter. The staying power is 2-3 hours only. Once the colour fades, the silver shimmers are scattered all over the face. Overall, I am not a fan of shimmery blushes but I find as a good pinky highlighter for highlighting my cheekbones.

  1. I was planning to buy it but I absolutely hate shimmer in my blush and bronzer. I guess I’ll give it a skip. Great review 🙂
