Make Up Academy has a Fashionista range of products, which is far better in quality with slightly elevated price tags. I have picked up one blush, a concealer and pressed powder from the range. Though usual MUA products are also good in their performance, but I found this Fashionista range really praise worthy. After lip products, my all attention is dedicated to blush selection. Let’s explore this blush in detail.

My experience with MUA Fashionista Blush – Glowing:
The moment I opened the parcel, this was laying bubble wrapped on the top. I was so happy when I opened it; the blush pan is very cute and classy. It is a small 1.5” square shaped, sturdy plastic black colored pan, with a transparent circular window on top to recognize the shade of the blush.
The texture of the product is extremely soft and smooth. The blush is well compacted and very finely milled. No fallout, keeping the pan very neat all the time. It comes easily on my blush brush bristles in a single swipe. The blush blends like butter. The shade glowing is basically a light coral shade. I am very poor at defining the colors; so I can say it a dark coral shade with neutral undertones. But honestly speaking, the shade is really gorgeous. It includes very minute golden shimmer in a controlled quantity; which makes the blush simply stunning on cheeks. The sparkles are totally invisible when applied but add a warm glow to the cheeks, just like when someone walks inside from a walk in the winter sun. The bonus point is that the shade will not only compliment most of the complexions, from fair to medium and wheatish, but also can be carried with most of the lipstick shades belonging to brown & coral families. The shade is not chalky. It doesn’t clog pores and doesn’t accentuate large pores. Also, application is flawless; blends like a dream without streaks. It doesn’t enhance my dry patches on cheeks near nose. The pigmentation is very good as well. The swatch is of a single swipe; so just few strokes show the color pay off. This is a perfect summery shade with satin finish for day as well as evening make-up. The lasting time is impressive; it lasts me around 6 hour as far as I have observed.

Will I buy MUA Fashionista Blushes?
Yes definitely if I ever spot them again because availability of MUA is an issue outside UK. The online websites not only sell these items at elevated prices but they refill the stock in bits & pieces, so every time I haul I have to pay shipping too. Duly recommended to all blush lovers. Stay healthy and happy.
