MUA Gel Eyeliner On the Move Review

MUA Gel Eyeliner On the Move Review

I came across this product through a friend who got it on her trip to US. She has it in a beautiful turquoise blue shade and when I found it available on an online site I just had to get it. I did not get the blue shade so I bought it in the shade On The Move (quirky right?)This is a deep brown shade with minute copper shimmer in it but the shimmer is barely noticeable and not at all over the top.

I like the packaging as I find it cute and very intelligent. These look really similar to the Revlon colorstay ones but I haven’t tried those yet. The brush is provided on the top of the lid and gets detached easily. One can use this brush in a hurry, But I personally don’t like the brush at all. It takes a lot of product and is pretty thick and makes application difficult. I find it very difficult to get a perfect wing with this brush.

As far as the gel is concerned, it is very creamy and glides on pretty well. The pigmentation of the product is good it gives great color in a single stroke and you can build the colour with 2-3 swipes. People who like brown eyeliners would love this colour. I have really oily eyelids and it stays on my eyes for a good 5 hours without fading or creasing without using a primer. But after that it starts fading. I guess if you use a primer you wouldn’t face this problem. It does not smudge at all which I love about this product. It isn’t totally waterproof but water-resistant to a great extent. I wash my face with water atleast 2-3 times when I am in college and it stays and doesn’t get washed off.

I have applied it on the waterline but it is bad when applied there. It does not stay at all and gets transferred to my contacts. So I suggest you don’t use it on the waterline.

The product is good but very expensive as compared to its cost in the US. At this cost I don’t think I would buy this again. I would stick to my Maybelline one which actually gives similar quality at a lesser price.

Price: 699 INR

Pros of Mua Gel Eyeliner On the Move:

• Good pigmentation
• Nice color
• Cute packaging
• Smudge proof
• Water-resistant

Cons of Mua Gel Eyeliner On the Move:

• Expensive
• The brush is bad.
• Might crease and fade after a few hours if used without a primer

My Rating: 3/5

Do I recommend: I won’t recommend this at this cost but if you are getting this from US where it is for 4$ then it is a great buy.
