MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil-Forest Green Review

MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil-Forest Green

Hoola beauties!

Take a deep breath-inhale and exhale and take of sigh of relief because my MUA stuff comes to an end with this last product. I don’t have much to say about why I picked this, simply because I loved their lipliner pencils and I had the same expectations from the eyeliner pencil. Plus, they are so handy with this sharpest sharpener. Actually, I wanted 4 shades from the range; the Royal Blue, Rich Brown, Snow White and Forest Green but could get hold of only this – so others stay on wish list for 2015 because this time, I shall wait for their free delivery promotion *hifive*. Let’s move on to the review though you must have got the hints that I like this one.

Price: $2.2 – excluding shipping – (Developed in UK)

Packaging: The pretty little eyeliner pencil came wrapped in a tight plastic coating, which really took efforts to get it unsealed. This protects the plastic lid/cover from breakage during shipping and also, the pencil outer look remains neat and new. The outer color of the eyeliner pencil matches the shade of the product. The cap includes sharpener, making it very handy but the pencil isn’t travel friendly. I have their lipliner pencils with exactly same design and after few weeks, the cap starts to loose and makes my purses very untidy *smack*.

My views about MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil-Forest Green:

With the awareness induced in me by IMBB, I am well convinced to add color to my lash line now. It is summer and time to move on to greens, blues, turquoise and all the pretty shades in eye liners. The MUA intense color eyeliner pencil is very soft and extra creamy in texture. It finishes to a matte finish, though you can see very slight sheen in the lead of the pencil. The shade is fresh leaf green and well pigmented. One swipe delivers decent color payoff due to nice pigmentation and creamy texture. But the lead is over soft to break now and then n slight pressure. The soft texture makes the application easy without involving any tugging and pulling. The pencil doesn’t smudge terribly so application is neat and doesn’t look tacky. However, it fades over the wearing hours. It is perfect for sensitive eyes as it doesn’t irritate or sting eyes. Even it is safe for water line application; though I will not suggest so as it also contains Parabens.

The pencil is not water proof, but survives water splashes easily. It is easily removable with any makeup remover or wet wipes. The sharpener has a killer blade and the remarkable point is that it doesn’t eat up product during sharpening. Each time I sharpen it, a crisp pointed nib of the lead is available for me to create thin and precise lines. The longevity on upper lash line is up to 4 hours on average and fades evenly until you have a habit of rubbing eyes now and then; rubbing will smudge it looking messy. The ease with which it creates line on my upper eyelash, I simply love this. Let’s sum up the pros and cons. Just don’t forget to clean the sharpener each time you intend to put it in a make-up case.
