Hi all IMBB beauties.

I have explored different MUA products. From lipstick trios to eyeliners and a few nail paints. But tell you what I was really surprised to see their one Pound lipstick collection. I really didn’t have much expectation from this product but it really surprised me. I have two shades of lipsticks from Make up Academy, one is shade 11 and another is shade 3 which has been already reviewed in IMBB. This time I am reviewing MUA lipstick shade 11.

A search for perfect shade never ends but my search for perfect n*de ended when I find this shade from MUA. I bought it from Super drug store when I was in London. It comes in 16 different shades including red, pinks and n*des.

My Experience with MUA lipstick shade 11

MUA lipstick comes without a cardboard packaging but fresh pieces are sealed. The packaging is black in colour with lipstick enclosed in a silver case. There is a cute little pot at bottom which can be unscrewed and contains some extra lipstick in it. You can easily find the colour through this pot from your lipstick stash. This little pot is also good for touch ups. The lipstick doesn’t open up in bag. It has a mild chemical-kind of fragrance which vanishes soon after application.

It is an n*de shade which suits me perfectly. It is an everyday wear colour. I think it will suit most of the skin tones but depends. The texture is creamy, glides like butter and not at all heavy. With a semi matte finish, it kind of moisturise my lips. If lips are not exfoliated it looks patchy because it settles in fine lines. The shade comes out well in single coat but to hide the lip pigmentation at least two coats of lipstick are needed. The pigmentation of the lipstick is too good at this cost.

Yes it is transferable but still leave a light stain .It lasted around 2-3 hours on my lips including snacks. I know it won’t survive meals but I can’t expect more from £1 lipstick.May be blotting can help a bit as can wearing it on top of lip liner .I like re-applying my lipstick and it only takes 2 minutes. 😀

• Transferable
• Contains Paraben
• Colour may not suit every skin tone.
• Settles in fine lines
• Availability in India.
• Tends to melt if not kept in cool environment.

Will Repurchase MUA Lipstick Shade 11?

Yes, until I find a perfect nude for myself. All I can say that these lipsticks are worth a try. At this price even if the shade doesn’t suit you, you won’t be at loss. It is available on a few Indian shopping sites.
