Today, I am reviewing MUA Luxe Metallic Liquid Lipstick in the shade “Flare”. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with MUA Luxe Flare Metallic Liquid Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in a gorgeous rectangular tube. It looks like a sleek glass tube, which looks pretty. The color-coded tube is easy to spot in vanity. The tube has metallic gray cap indicating the brand’s name and range. The cap is screw on type, which fits securely making it leak proof and travel friendly. The sleek tube can be easily carried around. The applicator is soft & doe foot type. The slant tip applicator makes the lipstick application smooth on the lips, giving a perfect pout. The applicator is long enough to work properly. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the tube. The tube also has a sticker on one of its side that indicates the shade name and quantity. Overall, the packaging is lovely and travel friendly.
Flare is a pinkish red shade. The shade has some warm undertones and looks gorgeous on fair skin tones. This shade perks up my face very well. This shade is actually somewhere between pink and red. I really love the color. The lipstick has a gorgeous metallic finish, which looks so attractive and hot on the lips. The shade has a pinkish hue, so it suits pale skin tones well. The shimmers are finely milled, and hence do not look chunky and gives a beautiful glossy finish.
The lipstick has a very strong fragrance, which will surely bother people with sensitive noses. The lipstick is amazingly pigmented. Just one swipe of this lipstick gives opaque coverage. But, still it will take two-three swipes for the color to show up properly & hide those pigmented lips. Overall, the color pay off is great. The texture of the lipstick is really thick and creamy, which makes it glide smoothly on the lips without any dragging. It looks super glossy initially and then after a few hours it sets to semi-matte finish with a creamy touch. The creaminess in the texture leads to the transferring of the product crazily.
The lasting power is super long, it stays for 5-6 hours on my lips but the color loses its intensity & shine with time. The lipstick normally does not smudge but it smudges with meals and looks very tacky. The formulation of the lipstick is pretty moisturizing. It does not dry out the lips. Though, the color fades but it does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. Overall, I really like the shade and quality of the product.
