My Experience with MUA Luxe Metallic Liquid Lipstick Bedazzle:
The packaging of these liquid lipsticks is simple and beautiful. The rectangular color-coded tube with a metallic gray cap looks pretty. The cap has the brand tag line written on it. The tube has a sticker indicating the shade name and quantity at one of its sides and also a tag at its base indicating the shade name only. The see-through tube with sharp edges gives some crystal kind of look. The applicator is soft and typical doe foot type with a long wand. It helps to hold the applicator properly and helps in better precise application. Overall, the packaging is good.
The shade “Bedazzle” is a bright plum shade with a metallic finish. It has some pinkish undertones. Though, I sometimes use such shimmery shades also, this one is not my kind of shade. It has a metallic finish due to the micro shimmers present in it. They are very finely milled and do not feel chunky. But, the bluish shimmers look gaudy and I personally hate such type of effect. It looked so over the top on my face that I have decided not to wear this shade ever again. It makes the lips look fuller though.
It has a very strong vanilla scent, which may bother people with sensitive noses. Pigmentation wise, it is amazing. One swipe is good enough to provide you that intense colour and finish. So, it definitely hides the pigmentation of the lips well. The texture is so soft and smooth. It glides effortlessly on the lips. The formula is thick and non-sticky. I really hate those sticky glosses. It rather feels so light and comfortable on the lips.
The applicator picks up the sufficient amount of product that is required for proper application. Initially, I thought these are metallic liquid lipsticks with a matte finish, but they are similar to Lip Lavas by Makeup Revolution in consistency and finish. They set to a high-shine glossy finish. You may blot a little to reduce the shine intensity. The formula is slightly moisturizing, so it does not dry out the lips. The creaminess of the product makes it transfer crazily.
It does not smudge normally but it smears with full meals and gives a tacky finish. It is long-lasting; it stays for approx. 5-6 hours on my lips without having anything. But the colour intensity fades away with time. Once all colour fades away, it settles into the fine lines of the lips and leaves a cheap stain behind. But, the stain can be easily removed with a wet wipe. Overall, I am not a fan of this shade but the quality is good though.
