Continuing the traditions of engineers and working in sequences & series, here is another lip product because I want to finish with my lip products reviews first. The theme for today’s photography is rose because this is my last week at Risalpur (and I am going to terribly miss this time). It is spring season and this city/town being a mountainous and cold region has got tons of roses nowadays. Every place I see, there are roses, roses and roses everywhere, thousands of them in at least 3-4 dozen colors and hybrids. I will try to capture some clicks and share too.
Coming to the product, MUA Luxe is range from MUA cosmetics, which is a bit better than regular MUA, Undressed and Fashionista ranges.

My views about MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer – Funk:
Packaging: Usually, ordinary MUA products come with just plastic wrapping, but the products from this range are very well packaged. The black card-box looks classy with golden engraved description prints. The lip lacquer comes in a plastic tube, transparent to display the shade of the lacquer. The packaging is travel friendly but not that sturdy, so be careful not to drop it.
Texture and finish: The lip lacquer texture is thick, smooth and creamy. Once applied, it dries quickly and sets to a true matte finish. It is not drying on lips but lips feel a bit stretchy initially, but not for long. It is not at all sticky and really light weight on lips. A lip liner is must to obtain a neat application. The applicator is very workable too. It doesn’t crease or set in fine lines.
Color and Pigmentation: All the shades in this range are bold and beautiful. I picked up the shade funk after quite hesitation, because I wasn’t sure enough to carry it. This is a gorgeous fuchsia pink shade, bold and loud. It looks really very fresh on face. The shade will suit medium and fair skin tones. Pigmentation of crazy; one swipe is adequate in one go.
Longevity: It stays on lips for 5-6 hours and fades with meals, though survive drinking activity. It has no fragrance.
Pros of MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer – Funk:
• Beautiful fuchsia pink shade.
• The shade is bold but looks very fresh.
• Dries fast, setting to a matte finish.
• Crazy pigmentation, color payoff in one swipe.
• No Parabens in ingredients.
• Stays long.
• Fragrance free.
• Thick, creamy, smooth consistency.
• Easy and neat application.
• Light-weight on lips, no sticky feeling.
Cons of MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer – Funk:
• Slightly uneven fading with meals.
Repurchase & Recommendation:
I want the shade Reckless (dark red) shade from the range the next time, but funk and reckless are out of stock mostly. Do try these; they are worth the experience of enjoying liquid lipsticks.
