So, this is the last eyeshadow palette I got from UK, London:( I purchased this from the MUA’s official website. I know it’s the holiday season and shimmer and glitter is what everyone is loving right now, but I am a matte eye makeup lover, so I thought that I really needed this in my life. Read on to find out did I really needed it or not?

My Take on MUA Matte Eyeshadow Palette in Ever After:

The packaging of the palette is quite normal. The lid shuts with a click sound and does not open up by itself, so it is almost travel friendly. I purchased it from UK and I received this product in perfectly fine condition, so I assume it is travel friendly. The texture of this product is somewhat chalky and also a bit powdery, but there is not much of a fallout during application.

Okay, coming to the heart of any eye shadow (its pigmentation), the darker shades are pigmented enough to show up on lids, but the colors need to be layered in order to show up properly. The lighter shades give almost the same color, it’s only a bit here and there. One needs to prime the lids fully for the color to show up. The staying power is very bad, it just stays for an hour or two, that’s it. With a primer underneath, it lasts for 3-4 hours. I use ELF studio primer. It is not a palette you cannot use at all, I mean you can definitely experiment with it and see how it is going to work for you.
