Hoola Beautifuls! Hope every one of you is in the pink of health.  A few days ago, I reviewed the shade “Pink Sugar” and promised to be back soon with the last one from the range and the brand. This shade “Buff” is a true n*de brown shade. After my previous experiences, I am hesitant to pick up a n*de because you can’t try that tester lipstick or applicator on your lips, yuck! And the shades somehow come out different on wrist and on face. Does anybody know how to deal with this issue? Anyway, this one is better than Pink Sugar. Let’s move on to the review.

My Take on MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss – Buff:

Packaging:

The lip gloss comes in a 6” tall tube to accommodate 4.5 ml of product. The wand of the doe foot applicator is too long which hinders the application a little bit. The applicator is itself good enough to work with. The cap closes tight so you can carry it around if you find the product use worthy 😛

Texture and Finish:

The lip gloss is thick in consistency and really dry. However, after you succeed to apply, it comes out to be lightweight and non-sticky on lips, but the texture is not at all creamy. It feels very dry in tube and applicator and literally several swipes are required to build the gloss on my lips as shown in swatches. After application, though it doesn’t feel excessively dry, the texture is nowhere close to a lip gloss. I have pigmented lips, so it matches the tone. The shade is a pretty n*de brown, which will work best for fair and medium skin tones. When combined with smoky eyes, it can create a really amazing wearable look.

The finish is glossy with no shimmer particles. When applied fresh, it stings somehow, but far less than the previous shade – Pink Sugar. The burning effect is bearable in this case but yields nothing at the end. My friend told me after reading the Pink Sugar review that plumping lip glosses can possibly sting, itch, burn to plump up the lips.  So, I wore this for half an hour, but still got nothing – no plumping effect. However, this doesn’t feather or settle into fine lines. With mild tea and water sips, lasts for about 2 hours. The tingling sensation is bearable and reduces with time.

Well girls, I have had enough with these lip glosses. I am not satisfied, so I won’t ever repurchase and recommend you all to stay back from hauling them. Have a nice week ahead.
