MUA Persian Rose Lipstick Review

Hello everyone,

I am so excited to write reviews for IMBB again after a very long time. All this time I have been busy being a housewife and then with my job and now with my baby. I am now settled with my baby and happy to write again. Today’s review is about an MUA lipstick in the shade Persian Rose. MUA is a budget-friendly brand and its products are decent too. I went to Superdrug to buy something else and as usual ended up buying loads of lipsticks by MUA. Since these are so cheap I didn’t mind buying. I will be reviewing all the products very soon.

My Experience with MUA Persian Rose Lipstick:

The shade Persian Rose is a bright pink shade that brightens up my face instantly. It goes well with a smoky eye makeup or even with simple eye makeup with just eyeliner and kajal. This is one of those pinks that do not make my teeth look yellow. I am not much impressed with the packaging of the lipstick, though. It does not have a click lock but it has never messed up in my bag; still, I can never be too sure about it. It has a cute little pot at the end which I think can be used to apply the lipstick with a brush.

The texture of the lipstick is creamy and soft. Since it’s creamy it tends to settle into the fine lines. On days when I have dry lips, it looks super dry and patchy. It is moisturising but not for days when I have dry lips. Trust me, it looks very bad if applied on dry lips. Persian Rose is a fresh pink shade and the formula is creamy and soft. The lipstick is transferable but that does not bother me.

I love swiping my lipstick multiple times but since it is so creamy and thick that single swipe is enough to get the desired shade; otherwise it tends to settle into the fine lines, as mentioned earlier. It might be a plus point for some people but for others it might not be. The lipstick has a slight fragrance which fades after a few minutes of application. It stays on my lips for almost 5 hours without snacking and munching and it doesn’t leave any stain. With little snacking, I need to reapply it.
