Continuing the MUA Power Pout Acrylic reviews, I am reviewing “Infinity”! So let’s start with the detailed analysis of this one 😛

My Experience with MUA Power Pout Acrylic – Infinity:
Packaging: The Power Pout comes in a sleek bottle which is colour coded and hence it is very easy to spot different shades if you own a few. It has a back cap which stays tight and can be easily carried around in a clutch or handbag. The wand is perfect as it has a slant tip which makes it glide smoothly on the lips creating a perfect pout.
Shade: The shade “Infinity” is a very bright fuchsia shade with is blended with the shade magenta to create a bolder shade. It is a gorgeous pink which will absolutely catch everyone’s attention. The shade has blue undertones which won’t complement the Indian skintones a lot! But this is surely a heck of a shade if you can handle it. If you love creating style statements and if you love being the eye candy, then this shade is something you should totally splurge up on. But this is surely not made for the weak-hearted and the acrylic consistency makes it look even bolder when applied on the lips. Both Supreme and Infinity settle down to a deep fuchsia shade and it would be more than enough to have just one. But this isn’t certainly my cup of tea!
Consistency and finish: It is really thick and creamy in consistency which makes it glide very smoothly on the lips. Just one swipe and I have the entire colour on my lips since the pigmentation is intense and totally opaque. But at times, it feels very thick and they do look like acrylic paint on the lips which I don’t like! The finish is very glossy and creamy initially but after few hours it settles to a matte finish with sheen and then a stain. These can rightly be categorised as liquid lipsticks or velvet matte finish lip crèmes.
Staying power: The Power Pout stays for a superlong time precisely 7-8 hours with full meals and snacks although it loses the intensity and glossiness after meals and water sips! It does settle in fine lines. It transfers a lot since the consistency is creamy and the shade is too bold. After some 5-6 hours, it settles to a matte finish with a slight sheen and then finally into a bright fuchsia pink stain which easily comes off with a make-up remover or cleansing milk.
Overall, they are damn good as far as the quality is concerned but the shades are too bold to handle and won’t really complement the warm undertones of the Indian skin.
Pros of MUA Power Pout Acrylic – Infinity:
• Great packaging with colour coded bottles to spot them easily.
• Great product at this price.
• Supreme is a gorgeous magenta pink with blue undertones which makes it a cool colour.
• It will look really stunning on very fair to fair skin.
• The pigmentation is unbelievable and totally opaque as stated.
• The finish is extremely creamy which then turns to a semi-matte finish.
• It keeps the lips moisturized throughout the day.
• It stays on my lips for 7-8 hours with meals and snacks.
• It has a pleasant butterscotch scent to it.
• Leaves a beautiful stain after 6 hours or after 2 meals.
Cons of MUA Power Pout Acrylic – Infinity:
• It is extremely creamy which is why it transfers a lot.
• It also settles in fine lines and on the corners of the lips.
• It bleeds a little after meals which looks tacky as the colour is superbold.
• It looks extremely bold on me and this is not something that everyone will dare to wear
• It is extremely thick like the acrylic paints.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5 (I find it superbold, but it is true to all its claims)
Will I Repurchase/Recommend MUA Power Pout Acrylic – Infinity?
No, I wouldn’t get these again because I would love to use something that is bold but a little subtler. Wouldn’t recommend it too as most of the women won’t feel comfortable wearing this one. Try if you have pink undertones!
