Today I am going to review a product from brand Make up Academy. It’s a lip tint and a balm too. After reading reviews of this product on IMBB, I thought of buying this and picked this shade. So do read further to find whether it fared well in my rato-meter or not.

Price:– Rs.1050 (But I got it in heavy discount for some Rs. 500).

Packaging:– It comes in a deep burgundy and silver tube. It comes in twist up pencil, so you don’t need to sharpen. I found the cap a bit loose if not closed tightly. One more thing I don’t find the color of the product very similar to the outer matching pencil packaging,but overall travel-friendly one.

My experience with MUA Power Pout Colour Intense Tint & Balm – Crazy in Love

The texture of this lip tint is balmy & glossy as the name suggests. Well its texture is really soft & moisturizing, it’s very smooth and glides evenly on lips without any tugging. There is a slight minty feel & scent in it, which I personally find very refreshing, the feel vanishes from lips after sometime. It doesn’t give a tingling effect, as some minty or plumping lip products do. So, others may not have a problem with it. Crazy in Love is the darkest shade i oI wn and it’s quite a lovely shade. The colour of the lip tint is a pretty maroon shade, with magenta undertones to it when applied on lips, and it has very tiny golden shimmers in it. While the colour itself is quite dark, but the sheerness of the shade makes it very wearable. It will suit almost every skin tone. It’s a semi-sheer to buildable lip tint & is very glossy. This shade is pigmented enough to cover my slightly pigmented lips. Yet the sheer texture makes it lightweight & comfortable to wear.

It doesn’t feel heavy on lips at all. It’s very moisturising and is like a treatment to my lips. It’s the best suited product for dry lips beauties. Even at the time of writing this review, I’ve been wearing it for the whole day, and I find my lips are definitely in better condition before I had put these on. I generally don’t have dry lips, but in winters my lips get a little dry. This product does have a tendency to settle in dry lines but it does not get patchy.Well, give this product a little time to sink into your lips, you’ll find your lips becoming a bit smoother & softer. It performs really well as a lip balm. Because of its beneficial properties it has become my most worn shade of lipstick. I would suggest everyone to replace their lipsticks with this tint which works as a lip balm too. Now, coming to the staying power,  it stayed on me for just  2 hours. But the stain lasted for another hour. Means it stays for 3-3.5 hours without eating. You will have to touch up after snacking. After fading it kept my lips well moisturized.

Cons of MUA Power Pout Colour Intense Tint & Balm – Crazy in Love

• You may not like it if you like neutral shades
• Some may have a problem with the minty scent
• Without some online offers it’s a bit expensive
• Tends to melt easily in heat.

Recommendation/ Re-purchase:– Overall I am very pleased with this product, the shade is really beautiful, the pigmentation is wonderful and it feels nice & moisturising on lips. If you like berry shades you will surely like it. Yes,do buy this product, if you have tremendously dry lips go for it, the quality is great. I will surely buy this product but other lovely shades. I am thinking of  buying all the shades. Go grab it, he ladies.
