Hello gorgeous ladies,
I am totally addicted to cream blushes these days and they work so much better than powder blushes! I recently reviewed the shade “Chichi” from the same range, which is a beautiful coral peachy colour, and today I have a beautiful hot pink colour.
Product Description by MUA:
Smooth and Soft – glide MUA Luxe’s Whipped Velvet Blush over cheeks for a light and instant colour. This ultra-soft blush lightweight formulation enables you to build the colour gradually for a look that suits you.
Hints and Tips:
Apply along the cheek bones and work in gently in an upwards motion with your brush – finish with a touch of MUA’s Undressed Highlighting Powder over the top for that added glow.
My Experience with MUA Ritzy Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush:
I really don’t know why I did not come across these blushes earlier? They look amazingly cute and awesome. If you haven’t come across these blushes yet, let me take you through the tour. These bushes belong to the “Luxe Whipped Velvet” range. As far as I know, this particular range has blushes and lip creams. The blush comes in a small cylindrical pan with a black packaging. The upper portion is see though, so the shade is easily visible and hence they can be easily located in your stash.
The consistency is like whipped mousse, extremely soft and silky. I think the name given is very apt, it actually feels like velvet when touched. The texture makes it mandatory to apply the blush with fingertips for a good finish.
Coming to the shade, I picked two completely different shades, the coral one was a lighter one while this is a bolder one. It is a hot pink shade which looks extremely girly and feminine. The pink shade gives a very natural flush to the cheeks. It looks so natural that probably if you don’t specify, people might think you have naturally rosy cheeks. It looks very cute on the cheeks and looks as if you have spotted a hot guy and you are blushing 😛
It will show up on all skin tones as the colour is buildable. The shade looks a tad bit dark and bright in the pan, but actually when you start blending it on the skin, you will get to know that the shade isn’t that bright. The blush turns into a creamy texture as soon as I apply it on my cheekbones.
The colour is very much buildable, hence the tip would be to go slow and keep blending till you achieve the pigmentation you want. It will show up on the apples of the cheek in the very first swipe. You need to be careful as it is a bold colour and will give you clown cheeks if you apply in excess. It made my cheeks glow in a very nice way. It has micro shimmers which are visible only on the fingers, but when I apply it, the shimmers create a glow-y finish.
The blush stayed on my cheeks for around 4-5 hours and then started to fade a bit. I have combination skin and my skin starts to get oily after a while, hence I feel it lasted for a little less time on me, but it can stay a bit longer on dry skin. With a primer, it stays for around 6-7 hours which is incredible. Hence I feel it is a good deal at that price and I love wearing this totally!

Would I Repurchase/Recommend MUA Ritzy Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush?
Yes definitely! It is a lovely colour which gives a very natural-looking flush to the cheeks. They have a variety of colours to choose from according to your liking.
In case you would like to try this range, go for the shade “Chichi” or “Ritzy” since this range has a few light shades that would not show up on the skin since cream blushes do not show up as brightly on the skin as they are in the pan.
