I am nervously excited to give my first review, it’s been a few months that I came in touch with IMBB and now it is my search engine for beauty products, so today it is my turn to contribute. I am reviewing a skin highlighter which I never really had as part of my makeup routine until I saw Rati using highlighter in her videos; and got to know how this little thing adds the extra glow and shimmer on the face. I have been on the lookout for a budget highlighter to start with, then I came to know about MUA highlighter, so without a second thought, I picked it up and it costed me 3 pounds 😛
How I came to know about MUA:
All credit goes to IMBB where I read so much about MUA and now I have almost every product from MUA which has been reviewed here, currently loving their Heaven and Earth Palette and eyebrow kit very much.
“Undress your Skin Highlighting Powder” is a lightweight baked powder designed to provide sheer coverage and a radiant soft-focus effect to transform your complexion with luminescence shimmer. It perfects any look by creating a natural, healthy glow that is suitable for all skin tones.
My Skin Type:
I have normal-dry skin (on the drier side).
£ 3 (INR 300 approximately).
Mica, Dimethicone, Talc, Nylon12, Magnesium, Aluminium silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben and Titanium Dioxide.
My Take on MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter:
It was the look of product that sold me on this. It looks stunning in the pan which comes in white and transparent plastic packaging, making it easy to see the content, and the swirled design on it reminds me of ice-creams. The colour of the highlighter is more pink but gives golden, healthy and natural glow to my skin. The powder is soft and smooth, pressing hard with finger or brush does not mess it.
The pigmentation is good for an affordable highlighter and a single swipe gives excellent payoff. I applied it with a fan brush on my cheek, chin and brow bone and that gave my warm skin tone a subtle finish. I did not have any issue with blending or patchiness on my dry skin (which I have with most powder products), but the right amount is the key to make it work on all skin tones.
It is very good for beginners, but again, applying too much can make you look like a disco ball. The powder stayed on me for about 3 to 4 hours which is quite good for me. I am glad I picked this up; you really can’t go wrong at this price. Overall, I think for the price, it looks just like a high-end product. This is now a part of my routine makeup and I love it!
Pros of MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter:

- Quantity is very good.
- Attractive and travel-friendly packaging.
- Excellent colour payoff.
- Doesn’t cling or emphasize imperfections.
- Gives natural sheen and glow to skin.

- Good for beginners like me.
Cons of MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter:
- Contains parabens.
- Lasts about 3 to 4 hours (not a con, then one can enjoy touch ups).
- Availability is an issue.
Would I Repurchase/Do I Recommend MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter?
If you want a good highlighter with shimmer and glitter at minimum, at an affordable price, then go for it. I do recommend this product and will be re-stocking it.
