Multiple Skin Issues: Ask IMBB

Ask IMBB Gang

Little Princess asks:

Hi IMBB,

I really need an urgent help from all you beautiful dolls. Β I am going through a really bad skin phase. My skin is in its worst phase, darkest dark under eye circles, dull, lifeless, badly tanned skin with tiny-miny little zits. What not?? Please suggest something that may help. Also, suggest some good night cream and day cream. Β I am really depressed, would be really thankful to you people.

I am 22 with normal to combination skin and please suggest some really good colourless mascara.

  1. Hey for dark circles you can use aroma magic under eye gel… obviously no miracle gel but will help reduce the dark circles in a month or so..and with that the home remedy would be squeeze potato and cucumber juice and soak two cotton pads in them and apply every days on your eyes… this works the best… *happydance* *haan ji* …for zits pick up some product with salicylic acid or benzoyl perioxide… these two work superbly for pimples and zits… *drool* *hifive*

  2. Hi LP,

I think skin needs constant care to keep it looking fresh and good. To start with may be you could get a clean up done for your face at a good salon. Also pick up a good sunscreen for daily use.

  3. Hi LP πŸ™‚
I think 4 to 5 litres of water (my doc recommends) should instantly lift up ur skin
plus 30 mins of work out (skipping rope, jogging ) should do ur wonders from the inside
then may be consult clinique and invest in a regime πŸ™‚

  4. Dear, if you are already in IMBB, you are now already rescued, many IMBBians would help you for your every skin queries. I would suggest you to use Aroma Magic under eye cream/gel religiously, you will see the huge difference. Aroma Magic products are affordable and they work like magic otherwise, there are Vichy products that work wonder.
Drink lots of water, *jogging* *jogging* exercise have fruits everyday. Here at IMBB there are many DIY homemade mask, scrub, anti tan pack, you can get one looking for. I heard VLCC anti tan pack works wonder again. All the best. Many replies would come for you. This is all I could suggest and be happy πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ … you are safe place for beauty, makeup and friendship *happydance* *happydance*

  5. Drink water like your life depends on it. More than you ever thought was possible.

As Neha already mentioned, exercise! It helps by increasing the blood circulation and gives you a lovely glow.

As for under-eye circles, us Indian women are very prone to discolouration under the eye. It’s probably because of the sun, as are the acne-form (the little zits are actually my biggest problem with prolonged sun exposure).

Get a good sunscreen, today! Lotus SPF 40 Matte works for me, and I have combination-oily acne prone sensitive skin (phew). Also, check your face wash and see that it is not too harsh. I would recommend Aroma Magic Grapefruit Face Wash, hands down!

I am also 21, and I never thought night creams are important. But, after IMBB and waking up with a new zit and rash and pimple each morning, I decided to try some options. Aloe vera gel works best for me in the summer. Fabindia has the best aloe vera gel. It stinks, but it works! And it is pretty budget friendly, also lasts you ages.

    Hope that helps. πŸ™‚

  6. Hey LP Firstly, Please do not get depressed… its just a phase and you’ll sail through it πŸ™‚ Stress and depression will aggravate your skin problems.

Consult a dermatologist first so that you are on a safe and a right track.

Pamper your skin with home-made face masks and steam. For dark circles use cucumber, potato and aloevera. These home-made recipes will take their time but will keep your skin refreshed.

Also invest in a good sunscreen-VERY IMPORTANT. For night and day creams again a dermatologist shall suggest you a good regimen. OR you can go to brands like Clinique,Kiehl’s, clarins they shall check your skin and suggest you products (but this will be very expensive). So you can try Kaya skin as well (Comparatively reasonable)

Please eat right daily consumption of raw vegetables and fruits is a MUST. and lastly drink atleast 3 litres of water daily. Also have green tea this will flush out all the toxins from your body.

So dont’ worry you’ll be glowing soon πŸ˜€ πŸ™‚ *puchhi*

  7. 1. drink lots of water
    2. exercise daily (4-5 days a week, atleast)
    3. eat healthy
    4. sleep well
    5. use natural, home made recipes for good skin in the long run: use malai, honey, youghurt, etc. a lot of DIY recipes are there on IMBB πŸ™‚

avoid going in for drastic, over-night remedies…. go slow on your skin πŸ™‚

  8. always wear sunscreen *haan ji* *haan ji*
use homemade cooling packs… there are tons of DIY on IMBB
eat salad daily including cucumber tomato etc, eat fresh fruits and apply on skin too *duh*
scrub ur skin…and the easiest one- get anti tan facial done in a good salon *jogging*

  9. hi, first of all i would say dnt get panicked…it happens. πŸ™‚ every thing will be alright. dnt forget that you are beautiful and we all know it. so no tension from now onwards.
just use besan mixed with tomato juice or honey and lemon or curd. use it daily as a face pack.
just add one spoonful of besan with any of the things mentioned above and add some rose water to it and make a paste and then apply it on face and neck. let it dry and then remove it with plain water using your fingers in circular motion. it will take time to get completely removed from your face but will leave you with a beautiful skin that you will love(do take care about not applying this near your hair line as it will stick to your hair and will be hard to remove if you will be in hurry so best time to do this is when you come back from your college). avoid any makeup for some days like foundations compact etc. use lite and good quality moisturizer. do this for next 15 days at least.
also drink loads of water and check if you have constipation. eat good food, avoid oily and fast food.try to make your stomach clean.
    good luck.

  10. Use aroma magic neem face wash..really mild. Also use nomarks cream for all skin types..helped me alot and for tanning use a face pack of oats and yoghurt mixed with rose water. Use dis pack atleast once a day
