OOTD: Mum-made Floral Print Dress with Puffed Sleeves

Mum-made Floral Print Dress with Puffed Sleeves

Hi ladies! I am back with the other dress my mum stiched for me ☺ this time it is a vibrant floral print dress with puffed sleeves. I remember wearing puffed sleeved dresses throughout my childhood. I stopped wearing those since they made my arms look fatter :-/ but now, I seriously don’t care! The dress has taken me back to my childhood ☺

Mum had at first stitched an A-line dress with a broader base and then she added some pleats on both the sides. She finished it with a belt which she made out of a green fabric.

Since the print is very bold I just wore my favourite green studs on ear ( got them at only Rs.5 at a fair!) and wrapped a purple neckpiece on my wrist as a bracelet( also from fair at Rs 40). Since this is totally a “bachpan wala” look, I skipped wearing heels and opted for jute flats instead. You get these shoes for about Rs.150 at jute expos or fairs. The sling bag you see here is also bought from a fair for 50 bucks 😛 I should become brand ambassador of fairs 😉 hihi
Makeup as usual was light. Just some peachy blush and lipstick.

Hope you enjoy the pics ☺ am sorry for looking all drained in the pics today, these were taken after long classes and 15 mins of cycling in the sun ☹

Dress: mum made
Shoes: jute exposition
Sling bag: fair
Earrings and neckpiece(worn as bracelet) : also from fair
Make up details: tips and toes dual blush ( autumn), Elle 18 colorpop lipstick #43 pretty peach

Rati had commented on my red dress OOTD that I should shun everything else and wear only dresses from now! Do you think so too? ☺ waiting eagerly for your response

  19. You look so pretty, Aparajita! <3 I really like the print of this dress. Oh, and that piccy of your earring is simply gorgeous; it's like you can see the whole world reflected in it or something 🙂
My sister is my personal designer – she stitches clothes for me from scratch as well, but so far it's been one summer dress and a good number of shorts 😀 I don't really wear dresses, so I love the shorts 😀 😀
It's an amazing feeling to wear clothes stitched by someone personally for you, isn't it? Btw, tell your Mom I think she is super cool and a wonderful designer. <3
