Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel Review

Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel Review

Hey!

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer weather! Today, I will be reviewing a skin care product that I picked up before going on my vacation to Houston, Texas. Whenever I travel, my diet, skincare routine and sleeping hour always get disturbed. Sadly, for me when this happens, my skin suffers. My skin always tends to look dull when my diet changes or if I don’t stick to my skin care routine.  This obviously is a huge problem, because when I’m out on a vacation, I want to look bright and glowy, but it is hard to keep the same routine I do at home during vacation. I picked up this product, to see if it would give my skin a good pick me up during vacations. To see if it worked magic or not keep reading!

Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel

Product Description:

As part of the Murad Environmental Shield line of anti aging skin care products to combat Environmental Aging, Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel is a home face mask designed to restore skin from environmental damage caused by sun, smog and stress. Use this antioxidant facial one to two times a week to instantly brighten and restore skin by exfoliating away dark, damaged cells and infuse skin with antioxidants and moisture.

Product Ingredients:

  • Glycolic Acid exfoliates to accelerate turnover of dark damaged cells, removing dullness and improving skin texture.
  • Vitamin C and Indian Fig protect against free radical damage while enhancing skin clarity and luminosity.
  • Myrtle Extract supports collagen production to boost youthful resilience and elasticity.

My Take on Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel:

I applied a good amount of this product on to my face and massage it for about 30 seconds. I soon felt a cool, tingly feeling. The box did say there would be a tingly feeling. I have dry/normal skin, and the tingly sensation was not painful. After I left it on for about 15 minutes, I washed it off. My face felt VERY soft and smooth. The best way I could describe this product is that it felt like I just had a facial. My face felt soft, smooth and well hydrated. Of course, the main reason I wanted this was to see if I can get a glowy complexion. My face did not look dull at all afterwards, it looked bright.

Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel

This product does claim to fade dark spots, personally I have not used this product long enough to notice any major lightness in my few blemishes I had from previous acne marks. But my face does look brighter after using this, so I would say that with proper use and if continuously, I will probably see some fading in my spots. I have used glycolic acid products before, and they are the BEST. Glycolic acid does wonders to my skin, and in this product the combination of glycolic acid and vitamin C is top notch. It is a pricey product, but it is only recommended to be used twice a week, so it will definitely last a while.
