My birthday haul!!!
hey everyone!!!! How is the week going??? hope friday comes soon. hhehehe
It was my birthday on the 18th and it was the second best birthday ever… we started celebrating from friday evening itself and entire weekend we spent on the couch watching movies and eating crap!! LOL… And on monday we went on a naiiiice shopping spree!! I was initially mailing this to Rati only but Id drafted the mail and pics and everything and now its become a full fledged post :preen:
As soon as we reached Macy’s I ran to MAC and picked up this blush I was so lusting after. MAC Cremesheen blush : Something SPecial.. I liked it from the day the SA applied it on my cheeks on my anniversary.. tab se was searching for a bahana to get this one 😉 [cant wait to review it ;)]
Next we got to the Bobbi Brown counter coz hubby wanted me to have something – but honestly only 3 things appealed to me: the cheek and lip stain, the brick – bronzer kinds which Rati has and the tinted moisturizer. Since I already got a blush I asked the SA to match a TM for me. She tried a couple but somehow they didnt suit me at all. Here they directly try foundations/TMs on your jawline not the inner arm – it gives better shade selection. So I want really convinced and took a sample instead. And then Laura Mercier caught my eye..
Laura Mercier is very very famous here among youtube gurus for her best quality and also Dermatologist recommended Foundations, primers,TMS etc. She cleaned half my face and applied the TM I requested for (after matching my shade). I could instantly feel the difference on my face. honestly, I always used drugstore foundations (most of the times heavily mixed with foundations) and I could actually see how it felt on my skin and looked great too 😀

I also took chutku samples from LM, MAC and BB – they come in cute glass pots.
Then we were just passing and something caught our eye. As in we saw those at the same time and liked that instant- so I went ahead and tried them…
Did you like them as welll??? They are the most comfy heels Ive ever ever worn… seriously!!! And they are nude… Im in love with them!!! I walked in them for a long time that evening and they were total bliss!! :happydance:
Then I took this belt because- actually no reason- I just wanted a brownish/tannish belt… heheh
And then we got Perfumes.
This is mine- Incanto Heaven by Salvatore Ferragamo.. Its an LE perfume out of some 5 types from this range as I was told.And this
one for hubby:
And the best gift I received was this: Kindle 3G By Amazon… It can hold upto 10 thousand books.Honestly best thing ever if you want some dedicated reading… I can totally see Sanjeev ji sitting with this for hours. hehehehe

Thank you Sanjeev ji… the bulk has reduced and like I said in my reply above – multiple books can be read at once,.. carrying it has become easy and sometimes I doze off while reading and some heavy book falls on my face. lolzzz
so now I dont get hurt much.. hahah
Hmm… 🙂 The international book store chain ‘Borders’ filed for bankruptcy this week. Kindle was one of the biggest culprit for taking away the customers of paperbacks. World is changing so fast that our grandkids may not even know what books were. 😐
