My Delhi Trip + Meeting Noopur & Shopping Haul
Hello my dear friends, hope you all doing well. Today I am going to share my most memorable vacation. Most of you all know that I into teaching and hence I get a nice extended vacation during summers. This time I utilized it the most. First I headed to Goa with BF for 3 days and then to Delhi for 20 days. (yes it’s been really a long holiday trip for me) 😛 Though I did not get time to shop in Goa 🙁 I very much shopped whole-heartedly (and got bankrupt at end) in Delhi.
So I normally visit Delhi for holidays as my dad stays there. It’s always boring for me to go Delhi and do nothing as I hardly have friends there. But this time it was different. Firstly because of my BF and to a larger extent Noopur. YES!!! I did meet Noopur and not only once but ‘n’ number of times. I always wanted to meet IMBB girls who have become as close friends as my school or college friends. I have met Shanaiia and Ankita here in Mumbai. (sorry could not take pics with them 🙁 ). Believe me its such nice to meet someone in person whom you are talking everyday in the virtual world. :yahoo:
I was very determined to meet many IMBB girls from Delhi. But unfortunately I could meet only Rashmi for a brief time,,,,and Noopur. Others were busy or the timings were not feasible. :(( I really reallyyyyy wanted to meet Pooja, Swati, Preeti, Deeptima, Kriti, etc who always showed eagerness to meet me….but somehow we all had some or the other problems with the day and timings. But I promise all you girls to meet next time I am there in October. :shy: :-*
The first day I met Noopur at KFC I was a bit nervous but more excited….she turned out to be same bubbly, cute, full of enthusiasm kind of girl. I never felt that we have been meeting for first time. The conversation went smoothly. We exchanged gifts. Let me show you the pics.

We went to The Body Shop at DT mall, Shalimar Bagh and got some great products with 15% discount on membership card. :yahoo:

Dreams Unlimited EDT (this is the best perfume I have come across till date…even BF loves it ) 🙂

TBS Deep Sleep which she reviewed recently. (I am planning to get this soon…loved the calming effect and told Nu to pick it up immediately) 😀 😀
Next day we planned to go C.P for shopping. Believe me it was so much fun shopping with her, I got some awesome deals on clothes and enjoyed lots of eating sessions. (Steamed Momos are my favorite :inlove: ). She treated me with world’s best cold coffee…..yummyyy. Noopur I still remember the taste! 😀 😀 😀
Here is what all we picked from C.P.
Noopur picked up 2 tops and I picked 3 tops which are very summery with floral prints. She also picked a light pink Lucknowi kurti and I also picked up 2 Lucknowi Kurti’s. The pink handwork one is my favorite. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
We both got this Cool Water Ittar from a shop in C.P. Trust me it smells divine and it was given to us in such cute little pouch.
We also did some street-smart shopping and got this earrings at awesome bargain price.

After the C.P ghoomna-phirna I wanted to do some accessories and cosmetic shopping so after 2 days Noopur took me to Pacific mall. There were so many brands out there. We stepped in at around 3 and shopped continuously till 8 :P. Ok we did have a short-break for some Chinese fast food and Ice-cream brownie. :yahoo:

Noopur bought these lovely tshirts for summer. I loved the yellow on her. :))
She also picked this nice Levi’s top.
I got lots of accessories for me. Love those cute hair-pins (Ohh yeah I had a hair-cut at Lakme and got these cute bangs now …so got these cute pins to hold them back :yahoo: )
Noopur purchased this lovely orange bag from lifestyle. I so loved it.
I also got this Lotus anti-tan crème suggested by Cali (thank you…it really helped me survive Delhi heat and prevented in more tanning :-* ) Also got this Lakme 131 lippie. :yahoo:
Next we picked these beautiful statement rings from Forever New.

I did some Forest Essential shopping too. Got this Saffron facial cleanser and Ubtan I reviewed recently. Loving both of them. :inlove: :inlove:

I also went with my sister for shopping at Karol Bagh market. Got these things from random shops.
• VOV nail art paint in metallic blue.
• Boots nourishing cream.
• Maybelline Dream mousse blush. (love it…a nice shimmery party wear blush) 😀
• Maybelline Express Finish Nail Lacquer
• Coloroma nail paint…it’s a lovely green.
I recently painted my nails with these two colors.
I got these nice embroidered sandals for my traditional outfits.
My BF gifted both of us this Shilpa Shetty Yoga DVD… :silly:
That’s it with my Delhi shopping. :))
I had so much fun there I can’t describe in words. All those 20 days, I was simply roaming with BF or Noopur. Even they got to know each other and believe me they are so humorous that I never got bored. :-*
I even stayed at Noopur’s place for a night. We had a great Pajama party. We had burgers which her sweet bhabhi got for us. Her nephew Kartikey is so so adorable. :))
I got to eat her yummy chocolates too….heavenly experience. O:) O:) We even talked to Beena over phone at around 2 a.m 😛 . It was such nice talking to her. Me and Noopur talked and talked till 5.30 a.m and then snoozed till almost 12 noon….hahaha. She even cooked yummy pasta for me. 😀 😀
I am really thankful to IMBB for giving me such adorable friends. :thankyou: And specially thanx to my BF for fighting with me for once. Because of that fight I grew so close to Noopur and Kimi. 😛 😛 They were like my support system those days. And now we are such good friends. 😀 😀

yea , its just close to janpath na ? when you leave janpath and walk towards metro station , its in the same lane as janpath where they sell all the handicraft and stuff . There are like 2 to 3 shops which sell the itrs 🙂 i sniffed it , it felt too strong then after a while i like it 🙁 to bad i was already in the metro when i realised i liked it :p

My aunt n cousins bough me gorgeous sarees n Salwar kameez pieces from delhi for my trousseau.. Chandni chawk in delhi is a must visit for me next time i go..

Yes u get MUFE in Inorbit malad. I think FE is there too. You can also check Palladium, Lower Parel for many brands (except MUFE..its only in Inorbit).
