Footwear Collection
Here is my next post on foot wear and by this post my only pending collection to be posted [flaunted ;)] would be my bangle collection. I was very lazy to take pics of all my foot wear so took the main and my favourite ones . 🙂 Also I excluded my shoes as I would hardly have 5-6 pairs and laziness is another reason.
I am usually brand conscious except for my foot wear . 🙂 I don’t mind getting those 2 pairs for Rs.150 kind of foot wear and that left me with a huge collection here. I would have skipped at least 10 pairs easily and hence here are the rest of my foot wear.
Usually I am pretty organized, if I am not I’ll go mad . 🙁 So my sis keeps saying I have OCD . True this is kind of an obsession for me that I keep cleaning or rearranging things very frequently and I always enjoy doing it. I have kept almost all my footwear in the respective boxes and the good ones in a transparent cover inside the boxes 😛
The pic above shows my collection. Few more pairs are in my in-laws place . 🙂

Party Wear
I use these shoes for parties and also for sarees, especially the hot pink, gold, blue and yellow one.
Trendy party wear foot wear with high heels. I usually prefer flat ones and these are exceptions as I love them so much. The white one with multi coloured stones is the one I treasure and every time I wear this at least one will enquire about this pair . 🙂
Few more high heels – multi coloured, black & grey and red . 🙂
Daily Wear
In daily wear collection I have almost all colours except green and I am also in a hunt for sky blue sandals as the one I have is pretty old.
Copper, Gold and multi coloured ones goes with most of my salwars . 🙂
Blues – Light and dark blue. You can see the light blue one getting really old . 🙁
Reds and Pinks – My two favourite colours . 🙂
Black and White – Both pairs are my favourite. I am looking for another white one . 🙂
Ballerinas – I just have two as I am not very comfortable with the edge pressing my fingers hard. Also I don’t wear the ones which I am not comfortable with, even if it is the most fashionable one I must feel comfortable with those else I’ll skip it.
My favourite Indian brands are

- Catwalk
- Mochi
- Soles
- Metro – I recently had a bad experience with their service so I am not sure whether it will be in my favourite list in future.
The cheapest one I have is Rs.99 and the most expensive one is Rs.1999.

Aarthi.. I also want so many shoes… Love mochi… I have seen it in Chandigarh so I picked up a few shoes from there but I am yet to locate a mochi’s shop nearby.

oh really! I picked up two pairs form mochi 6-7 months back and one of them is still in the perfect condition.. I don’t have much experience with them but so far it’s been nice only.. :idk:
Rati their fresh arrivals are really good, never had a complaint. but i think they sell kind of damaged ones during sale…
could be Shyna.. as much as fan sales are they could turn out to be pretty bad as well. :((

Nids, druing sale it is damn cheap..like every year they put up 60% sale and you get shoes for as low as 300-400..but i have this bad experience n never bought during sale again

Yes I do in spite of my bad memory.. I can almost tell the order of my shoes by just seeing the boxes.. Transparent boxes sounds good too 🙂

What have you kept all the shoe boxes in? It’s like a long box…I love it…loved your collection too…I keep most of my shoes in bags or boxes too..but I would love to have them kept organized and neat the way you have kept it 🙂
It is the storage space that comes below the cot. Usually people use it as an extendable bed but I used it for storing shoes 🙂

Hey Ida thats the storage space that came beneath my cot 🙂 You can always make a carpenter to do one that fits into ur cot.. I made one made at my in laws place 🙂
