I have never celebrated Karwachauth in 8 years that I have been married, partly because it is not a festival celebrated in South India and mostly because starving the whole day never did seem that appealing an idea to me. This year, though, the fasting bug bit me too….blame it all on a bunch of crazy friends I have from the blog world 😀 By around 11 p.m. when I did manage to spot the moon for a nanosecond through the clouds, any romance and charm I had associated with fasting had all but disappeared, but something tells me, I will be searching for the moon next year and all the years to come from now on!!

Heheheheeee…..is no wisdom hair..is lack of wisdom hair!!! I have just left it that way recently, though, because I had skin sensitivity to something else. Henna isn’t a good option for grey hair Uzma…well at least I don’t think it is 😐 though it is a very safe option for someone like me cos I don’t have to worry about skin reactions.

Not the right person obviously to give gyaan on this, but there are soooo many easy-peasy hair colours in the market right now..if you don’t have a problem with skin sensitivity to them. You could get one and try a patch test on your skin…and then use them. Henna makes grey hair a brassy colour I feel (errr cos I have tried that 😀 😀 :D) plus grey hair is already drier than regular hair..so really doesn’t need any additional drying. You could try colouring only your wise hair 😀 😀 😀 And I for one absolutely do not believe that anything reverses it.

I have messed up skin – ok well at least bad by blogging standards – but I am least bit bothered about it 😀 😀 😀 Is actually clearing up a bit now…am using Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 and Shiseido Oil-free Mattifying Moisturizer…won’t change these two whatever else I change. And I am using Kama Face Cleanser every single day. All this helps, but trust me, my skin is nowhere near clear at all… :-(( :-(( :-((
Concealer + Foundation + no close-ups of the face helps too :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And I just don’t really care too much about it cos I have seen worse days 😀

I don’t know if these are they typical ones..but I have bought the exact same ones from Jaipur too..so really not sure. I love the glass bangles from Hyderabad more than these mirrored ones…those are really simple and prettty according to me..I went bonkers when I went there and bought TONS of bangles 😀 😀 😀

Nids I am not from Hyderabad..just went there for a 3-day trip once..but these are from streets that run straight off the Charminar…is full and full and full of small small shops that seem to sell nothing but bangles…actually, there are streets that run off the main streets and then more branches off those…as you go deeper in you find better bangles…the glass ones, that is. The main streets had more of the really beautiful expensive bangles which I did not buy.
Even i’m not from hyderabad.. i think there are local markets full of bangles… and yah like rads said, near charminar… its like a bangle market

Radhika, please tell me about the Shiseido oil-free mattifying moisturiser you are using. Does it reduce oiliness and give a totally dry matte finish? Need something like that very badly.
It has a powdery finish to it..I don’t if I am explaining properly..it has this silica powder kind in it..and it is absolutely oil-free, so not only are you getting an oil-free moisturizer, the powder kind of gives a bit of an absorbent effect for any oiliness that might come up later. Its not very obvious – like you are not going to feel any powder as such on your face, but its there. Have reviewed it earlier on my blog..
