My Shopping – Diamonds & More

Hey all you beautiful people! This is my first post ever so I hope you overlook my little mistakes and enjoy the post. I have a wedding coming up in the family so I have started shopping a little every now and then (though I don’t really need a reason to shop). Ok, so here goes my mini shopping haul:

This is the Clutch I picked up from lajpat nagar..

I like the fact that it is multi-coloured so I don’t have to worry about matching it with a particular outfit..I also think that this clutch is a good idea for me because I generally don’t go for that many weddings and stuff so it is a waste of money to spend on different colored clutches. I don’t exactly remember the price but it was about 800-1000.

This pink clutch I ordered from fashion and u..I liked it because it has a different shape as opposed to the usual clutches you find a dime a dozen. It has a leather kind of finish and has glitter.

I like its quirky shape!! This is the spur of the moment buy! Hehe…this clutch is about 1400rs.

I have to admit I love diamonds! (who doesn’t) and I totally agree with the saying “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”!! I had a diamond mangal sutra but I lost it somewhere and I just didn’t remember where! *Sob*
sob…

Mangal-sutras are not mandatory for us (rajputs) and I bought it just because it looks very pretty..anyways I’ve been meaning to get a new one for a while now and used to go to the jeweller every now and then and select something..But this time I just couldnt control myself when I saw this beautiful piece!! I didn’t want a very traditional design and this one fit the bill perfectly!! It costed me about 32,000 with the string..I went for a single string as 1,it looks seek with one string n 2, the price would ve gone up by about 3000-4000 if I had opted for two strings.

I love glares and I’ve about a few of them.I cant step out of the house without one, in fact I’ve even kept a pair in the car permanently for those times when I’ve to run errands in a hurry and I forget to pick it up from my room!! Is it weird?? So, anyways, I am always on a lookout for a nice pair when I visit shoppers stop/lifestyle et al…This time I was looking specifically for aviators and I stumbled upon this one pair.Wayfarers with a orange stem. It’ s from Idée so I was a bit hesitant as I only buy designer glasses(tommy/Christian dior/Versace/Armani et al) thinking that as they are so expensive, one can be sure about their UV/UA protection.

.But this time I liked the design and the quirky orange stem and decided to go for it as it didn’t even cost much. It’s about 1200.The only downside to this pair is that you can’t wear it with anything and everything. Given the orange stem but I like it nevertheless

As mentioned earlier i’ve a wedding coming up and our traditional jewellery is usually of polki/kundan.I personally don’t like plain gold jewellery..its gotta be either diamond or polki/kundan or set with some gemstones.I wanted to buy a big kundan ring with both red and green stones so that I can wear it with more outfits and ordered it but there was some confusion and they sent me this ring instead(with only
green).. so I’ve given the ring for alterations and I am putting up the pic, which I cicked earlier. Its’ not that clear(I had put it on my daughters finger )!!).

I also bought this diamond ring set in gold. From far it looks like it has got 3 solitares but this is what is called pressure setting..There are small diamonds which are set so close to each other that from far you
cant make out whtr its one single pc or not..I had gone to this jewellery with my mum and had no intention to buy this but I liked it for its simple design and also for the fact that it looks like solitares unless u look
closely, which means that it looks damn expensive though its not(don’t we gals just luv that!!)

I read all u guys raving about the Carmex lip balm and Burt’s bees lip balm that when my hubby came from US,I made sure that he got these two lip balms and I am loving them!!yayyyyy

I also managed to lay my hands on the Fab India coral face pack which is a super hit on this blog.I used it yesterday and I must say that it is totally worth all the praise!!

That’s about it for now..I hope u pretty pretty gals enjoyed the post and my mini shopping haul..As for me,I totally enjoyed posting it!!
Lemme know what you think about all the things featured here!!
