Today, I am reviewing Nads Facial Wax Strips.  I have used Veet strips before, but recently got Nads Wax Strips.  I suffer from excess facial hair which is dark and long (I hate it).  I sometimes bleach my face to lighten the color of my hair to blend into my skin, but they always stand out in the sunlight.  I am the only one in my family who suffers from excessive hair growth.  I tried hair removal cream which burnt my face, so I stay away from it. I did a lot of research on other ways to remove facial hair and found waxing to be the best solution.

How To Use:

• Ensure skin is clean, dry and free of oils and moisturisers. Gently wipe the skin with the Nad’s pre wax Kava Wipes and allow skin to dry.
• Briskly rub strips between palms to warm wax. Slowly separate a double Nad’s Hair Removal Strip into two strips.
• Using the palm of your hands and finger tips, apply strip with firm pressure and firmly smooth over 3-4 times in direction of hair growth.
• Holding skin taut with one hand, quickly pull strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth. Remember to hold skin taut with the other hand and to pull close to the skin rather than up into the air. For the perfect finish remove any residue with Nad’s Post Calming Oil Wipes.

To remove hair from upper lip, chin, eye brows.

Length of the hair:

For best results, hair should be between 2-5 mm long.

Patch Test:

It is always recommended to do a patch test on the arm before doing a full-fledged wax on the face.

My Take on Nads Facial Wax Strips:

I use this product to remove hair from upper lips, chin and temple area above brows.  This pack comes with 24 strips and 4 post wax calming oils. The wax strip is made of a nice perforated material and has the right amount of green colored wax coated to both the sides to grab the facial hair. The wax is very fine and doesn’t have a weird smell to it. One side of the strip pulls out the entire hair on the lips and chin. There is no burning or redness post waxing which is a huge benefit. Make sure to pull the hair in the right direction or else you might end up breaking the hair which might result in in-grown hair.

I have been waxing for a year and did not notice any ingrown hair yet. Post wax strips help to remove the wax out of face.  You can save the other side of the wax strip for next use and also post wax strips can be used multiple times.

Pros of Nads Facial Wax Strips:

• Pulls out hair easily and smoothly.
• There is no pain while pulling the hair out as the wax strip doesn’t tug to the skin, instead it grabs the hair.
• Doesn’t irritate or burn the skin.
• Can be used on sensitive skin too.
• Doesn’t give post wax bumps.
• Hair free skin for at least 2-3 weeks which is a bonus.
• Single side of the strip is enough to remove the hair from upper lips and chin.
• Hair doesn’t grow back coarse.

Cons of Nads Facial Wax Strips:

• Might result in in-grown hair (I haven’t noticed any yet).
• Excessive waxing may result in premature wrinkles.
• Availability issue, can be found only in USA, Australia, UK, Canada and New Zealand.

I love this product as it helps me to remove excess facial hair in the comfort of home.  I will definitely recommend this product to anyone who is okay with waxing facial hair. If you are not, better stay away from it and get the hair threaded.
