Nail Trend Nail Enamel in Wine Pink and Petal Pink Review, NOTD

Karpagam

Hiiiii….Hope you all are doing great!

I am back with another nail paint review . During my grocery shopping at Reliance Fresh, I found some nail paints kept near the billing counter. I was checking out the shades. The packaging looked quite cheap and when I checked the price, it was way to cheaper than that :D.

Nail Trend Nail Enamel Wine Pink and Petal Pink Review NOTD

It was just for Rs. 18 each. I was surprised as I haven’t found any cosmetic so cheap in recent years :woot: . They didn’t have a big shade selection, may be around 7-8. I picked 4 shades out of them.

They are:
1.  Wine Pink.
2.  Petal Pink.
3.  Royal Mauves.
4.  Orchid Mauves.

Swatches for Royal Mauves and Orchid Mauves can be found here.

Let’s come to the other 2 shades. It comes in a glass bottle with black lid. I don’t have anything to complaint about the packaging.

Second

The brush is evenly cut and makes the application easy, but I found the brush in Petal Pink to be less dense than other brushes.

Now, coming to the shades, both of them might not look very different in the bottle, but when applied, both look different.

Wine Pink is a pinkish mauve shade with very fine shimmer in it. Two coats of this shade gave the exact color on the bottle. This shade reminds me more of the Amway Attitude nail paint in Lavender Rain, minus the lavender tone.

Wine Pink

Petal Pink is a classic baby pink with loads of fine silver glitters. It applies very sheer and needs at least 3 coats for a decent coverage. If you don’t mind the extra shimmer, it could be your every day shade.

Petal Pink

The consistency of these is thin and takes about 3-4 minutes to dry completely. The colors with more shimmer might take a little more time to dry. I have made my nails short in the process of giving it a straight cut. Now let’s sum it up.

What You Can Enjoy For The Price:

1.  Cheap, Cheap, Cheap.
2. A 5 ml bottle can be finished up fast.
3.  Both are very wearable shades.
4.  Decent brush applicator.
5.  Pretty decent wearing. Stayed on for 4-5 days without chipping, (more glittery ones chip a little faster).
6.  You can find most of the basic shades.

What You Have To Compromise For The Price: :secret2:

1.  Both shades went on a bit streaky.
2.  They don’t have a big shade selection.
3.  Darker shades make nails a bit yellowish.

I can’t complaint more :quiet: .

Final Verdict:

I’m quite okay with the quality for the price I pay. You can definitely try them. They are pretty decent for the price we pay.

Rating:

4/5.

  4. Even I have Plum Delight Mauves and Gold Metallic. The Plum shade is good, but I didn’t like the Gold one. Wine pink is really good.
