How is everyone doing? I am here to share with all you fellow makeup lovers another amazing product that I got a few months ago and have been in love with it since. I am talking about this lip gloss by NARS which has an interesting name – Bad Education. I like when companies put so much thought and gets innovative in naming their products, but only catchy names are not enough to love or hate a product, so will let you know why I love this one.
These lip glosses provide serious shine and sexy color in sheer, semi-sheer and creamy formulas. Extremely wearable and versatile shades may be worn alone or over other lip formulas for added dimension.
- Ultra-smooth, non-sticky, comfortable wear.
- Enriched with Vitamin E to help lips feel supple and hydrated.
- There are 38 shades available.
It retails for $25 for 8 gm of product.
The lip gloss comes in a black box. The packaging is of very nice quality. All the products from NARS come in very nice packaging. It is not a cheap plastic tube. The black top part is rubbery and it attracts a lot of dirt.
My Experience with NARS Bad Education Lip Gloss:
My experience with this product has been wonderful. I am in love with NARS products, but the high price tag restricts me from buying them without putting some thought in it. I was lucky to get a sample in another shade of this lip gloss. I was very impressed with the quality of the product. So, I decided to go and try out the other shades in the store and was instantly drawn to this stunning berry red shade called Bad Education. It is a gorgeous shade that is described as a sheer crimson red, but I find it to be more subtle and toned down version of red. It is sheer enough to wear in day time and if you wear it over a lipstick, you get the perfect date night look 🙂
I get a lot of compliments and questions about it when I wear it out in night time. The pigmentation is amazing. It is very moisturizing on the lips, never makes my lips feel dry. The texture is nice and creamy, applies smoothly on the lips. The gloss is not very sticky and stays on the lips for about 1-2 hours, which is usual for the non-sticky glosses. It fades into a beautiful pink red color.
There is no glitter in this, just a little shimmer. There is a plastic smell to this but it goes away after a few seconds of using it, does not bother me.
Pros of NARS Bad Education Lip Gloss:
- Very pretty color.
- Deep pigmentation.
- Smooth texture.
- Non-drying on lips.
- Non sticky.
Cons of NARS Bad Education Lip Gloss:
- Firstly, it is pricey, but it has a good amount of product. Just for comparison, NARS lip glosses are 8 gms for $25 whereas MAC lip glass glosses are 4.8 gms for $15.
- Not very long lasting.
What’s not to love in this lip gloss? It is a very good quality product but the price is a bit too much. I would say if you get a chance to try this, get your favorite every day shade so that you get a good use out of it. I reach for mine quite a lot. I am sure you will like it 🙂
