Packaging: No matter what, you will love the packaging. Nars Final Cut Satin Lip Pencil Descanso comes in a black sharpen-able packaging. The bottom of the pencil reflects the shade of the lip color. It is travel friendly.

Texture and finish: NARS satin lip pencil Descanso has a creamy and smooth texture. It applies easily without any drag and is extremely feather light on lips. There was no settling of the lip color into fine lines. I observed no smearing or bleeding of NARS satin lip pencil over the hours I wore it even with eating and drinking. It isn’t as moisturising or hydrating s claimed by NARS, yet I didn’t find it drying on lips either. In my opinion, the finish is more cream-sheen than satin.

Color and pigmentation: NARS satin lip pencil Descanso is a rose-tea shade. it is a neutral pinks shade, light with medium intensity. This makes it an everyday shade, perfect for day wear and office hours. Precisely, you can say it a rosy peach shade with warm undertones for Asian skin tones. This will make it suitable pick for all complexions. It gives full coverage in one swipe and is completely opaque. The pigmentation is great too.

Longevity: NARS satin lip pencil Descanso stays on my lips for 4-5 hours on average which is good for such a creamy lip color. A lip primer will increase the longevity manifolds.
