My Shade: St Moritz Medium 1. It matches my skin tone perfectly. The shade is a bit on the golden peachy side so I love the little warmth it adds to my skin.
Fragrance: Does not have any noticeable fragrance.
Packaging: It comes in this matte black tube packaging. The tube tends to catch the finger prints and can get dirty over a period of time. Also, because the texture of the product is slightly runny, it does get accumulated on the inside of the cap. You have to constantly clean the cap from the inside. Not the biggest fan of the packaging.
Texture: Semi-thick creamy, blends easily and seamlessly.
Coverage: Light sheer coverage. It can be built up to a semi medium coverage but don’t expect it to provide any heavy coverage. It would even out your complexion, give a little coverage and gives a nice, polished look to your skin. Then you can go on with your concealer and conceal the spots and blemishes on your skin. It’s an excellent everyday product. Also comes with SPF 30 PA+++ that gives you a broad sun protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
Finish: It gives a very fresh and almost a natural “glow-from-within” kind of a finish. I’d say it is a natural finish product. It’s good for all skin types because it is neither oily nor dry. Also, it’s great for people who already have good skin to start with and who don’t need a lot of coverage, but still something that would give that freshness to the face. It’s a also a great product for those with mature skin. Does not accentuate or settle into fine lines.
Best used with fingertips. It’s such a sheer product that I feel Beauty Blender/brush does take away some of the product. I mostly would apply with finger tips and smoothen out overall with a brush.
Staying Power: It has an excellent staying power. It is my “go-to” product that I wear it for good 6-7 hours almost every time and my skin does look pretty much the same throughout. It never goes patchy or fades away, but I would mostly use it with a primer underneath and some powder on top to set my makeup. And this is standard for all the foundations or tinted moisturisers I use. I have normal to dry skin so most products do stay longer on my skin as compared to someone with oily skin. If you have oily skin, you might have to do touch-ups during the day because it is not an oil-controlling product. You can also use an oil-controlling primer underneath.
This tinted moisturizer has never broken me out. Give it a go if you are looking for a “my-skin-but better” product. Skip – if you are expecting any coverage. It’s not the great product for photographs unless you have a very perfect skin to start with. In real like, it’s absolutely gorgeous and a very effortless everyday product.
