I wandered through the aisles of Sephora and Ulta, looking high and low for products that would go with my skin tone and liking. This is one of my first sponsored products and I am super excited to write its review and express my gratitude towards IMBB.

My Experience with NARS Seduction Blush:

Why I picked this blush? Because it is probably the most talked about blush in the blogosphere! And, more than anything else, it is known as a luxurious product and has been copied by several drugstore brands, who try to imitate this blush, not so successfully.

Packaging: Matte, black, plastic packaging on which finger prints or loose product would show up easily, hence it is high maintenance. It has an inbuilt mirror and the product is set in an aluminum pan which is then set in the same matte black plastic case. It is very small and easy to carry around in purse for touch ups.

Texture: It’s a powder blush, however it is not prone to fallout. Gently sweep the brush on the pan to pick up the product and apply on the cheek bones – no excess brush tapping is required since it has negligible fallout. It is very soft in texture and blends effortlessly.

Color: This particular shade is unique in my vanity – mauve, plum shade with mild shimmer. I was always skeptical when it came to purchasing such plum blushes, but when I applied it on my face, it looked very pretty and natural.

Pigmentation: Awesome pigmentation! One sweep is enough for a cheek, in fact more than that might look too garish and unnatural. It has mild shimmer, hence it can be used as a highlighter shade, but only on the cheekbones. I apply it to my cheekbones and sides of my temple and maybe under my chin to give a slimmer appearance to my face.

Shimmer and Shine: It has a very pretty sheen to it, but not too much, hence it can be worn for a day look or a night look with equal ease and would still look pretty on all types of skin tones, except very dark tones.

Wear Time: It lasts the entire day or till it is removed. The shimmer particles might transfer a little or vanish after a long day, otherwise the color stays intact.

Conclusion: This is a very pretty blush and is definitely one of its kind in my vanity. It complements my skin tone well and goes well with all kinds of looks, especially office wear. Like I said, it won’t look too good dark skin toned beauties, but otherwise most of us are good to go.

Would I Repurchase NARS Seduction Blush?
Nope! It is way too pricey and I will make sure that it will last me a long time. If I ever venture out to buy any blush from this range, I would go for some other shade, not this one.
