My Experience with NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer:
I took a while to start using this concealer. I am so addicted to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer that it is almost hard to switch on to something else. Also, this comes packed in a pot, so I thought it would be thick and heavy. I picked up the shade “Ginger,” which is the exact match to my skin tone.
Packaging: Â It comes packed in this little glass pot with a matte black (signature NARS) cap. The matte cap is definitely not the ideal one in terms of keeping it clean in long term. It catches every single print/dust and the pot packaging is fine considering the nature of the product. I scoop out the product with the back of my brush to avoid double dipping. or I just use my clean fingers.
Texture and Pigmentation: Â It is soft matte, as the name suggests, and absolutely not heavy or thick. It is super opaque and much effective than radiant creamy concealer if you want to cover spots and marks, this is your guy. I am literally obsessed with this concealer. Since it is matte, it almost looks like a part of your skin. Even if you have very dark under-eye circles, it would help in concealing those.
Shades: You can get it in 16 shades. I use the shade “Ginger,” but I also like the shade Custard (lighter than my skin tone) for highlighting.
Formula: Â It is an oil-free formula and it also contains antioxidants. I love when you get a benefit of skincare in makeup products. Big thumbs up!
Staying Power : I have never seen it fading even when I have worn my makeup for good 10-12 hours as well. It does not crease, does not settle in fine lines.. nothing. It doe snot dry out the under eyes or skin at all. It sits comfortably and seamlessly on the skin.
It is definitely “one of the best concealers” I have in my collection. I took time to start using this but now I can’t stop using it. Can’t wait to add another shade in my collection already.

Totally agree!! It’s high time NARS came to India! Ive been on the fence with this one for ages. With a concealer, i really do want to try before i buy coz nothing is totally satisfactory – especially considering my under area is getting dark and more wrinkled by the minute!! i’m gonna check this out for sure – along with he MUFE HD corrector.
kulpreet start using those highlighting pens (YSL, chanel etc all high end brands have those) , they are amazing for under eyes esp if you have wrinkles. like color correct with mufe HD and then use a highlighting pen to add brightness. It would be worth a try 🙂
