My Experience with NARS Super Orgasm Illuminator. 

It’s a gorgeous peachy pink illuminator with gold glitter. And I am obsessed!! I started using it recently only because the weather is changing and I am wearing more coral lip colors these days. The color kind of co-ordinates well with the coral lip colors me, imho.

It’s a suuuper shimmery highlighter. Totally not for the people who have problems with open pores or oily skin, this product is totally not for you. It is full of glitter and shimmer and can totally accentuate every single pore on your face.

It comes packed in a practical wide plastic squeeze tube. Nothing fancy but easy to use and easy to store. The cap closes to a satisfying click so no problems or leakage or anything.

Although it is mentioned that you can mix this product in your foundation and can use it all over the face, I suggest not to. It is way too shimmery and pinkish to be used that way. In fact I like to use it only on the high points of my cheeks , not even on my nose or centre of the forehead.

It catches the light soo beautifully and gives that appearance of high cheek bones.

It is super pigmented. A little goes a long way. Infact, don’t go overboard with it.

Blends easily but you have to work quickly with it because it dries fast.

I mostly dot it on the high points of my cheeks and blend it away with finger tips. Works great. It imparts more glow than the actual color on the skin..until you are going really heavy handed. Still a hint of peachiness looks nicer than if you’d just use a pure gold highlighter.

It stays for around 5 hours one me before the color fades. Considering it is a pure party product, I feel it’s about okay.

Overall, it’s one heck of a product from NARS. If it suits your skin type , definitley give it a go. Obsessed!!
