My Experience with Natasha Denona Foundation X:
The packaging of the product is basic and very simple. The foundation bottle comes housed in a white-colored cardboard box. This box bears the brand’s tagline and ingredients list mentioned on it along with some other important information. The foundation comes in a frosted finish cylindrical glass bottle. It has a pump dispenser which helps to dispense the product easily. The dispenser and the cap of the bottle are white in color. Also, the bottle bears the detailing in white fonts. The cap shuts very securely making an audible click sound. This makes it fit for travel purposes. There is a transparent sticker at the base of the bottle bearing the shade number. The see through bottle helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. Overall, the packaging is very basic yet useful and travel friendly.
I was excited to try out this foundation but the shade selection was quite a task since there are only 11 shades available. Secondly, buying a foundation online is again very challenging. It took me almost ages to decide the shade for me. I was confused between the shade 30 and 42. Shade 30 has some orange undertones which confused me while shade #42 was kind of too yellow for me. Hence, I finally settled for the shade no 30, which is a light medium shade with orange undertones and I am so lucky to find my perfect match in such a small range of shades. Yes!
Shade 30 is the perfect match for my skin tone. It looks so natural on my skin. It is really hard to find a foundation with perfect undertone match, but luckily, this one turned out to be an amazing match for me. Though, I have found a good match but everyone might not find her perfect match in such limited choices available. The foundation has a mild floral fragrance, which is barely noticeable. Hence, it is certainly non bothersome for people with sensitive noses. It is super easy to blend. For me, it blends the best with a Beauty Blender and a buffing brush also helps to achieve good coverage.
The texture of the foundation is neither too thick nor too runny. It has a thin and lightweight formulation, which spreads effortlessly on the skin and is super easy to blend. It feels comfortable on the skin. It does not feel like I have layered many layers of makeup on my face and at the same time, it helps to achieve full coverage in thin layers. It gives a soft, matte finish to the skin. It does not make my skin too dry or greasy. It leaves a soft glow on my skin and helps to control excess sebum secretion for long, as the brand claims. The formula is non-drying but still it is important to prep the skin well to prevent the foundation from clinging to the dry parts of the skin.
The foundation sets within a minute or so and looks very natural on the skin, so you have to be quick while blending in the foundation. It does not oxidize at all, at least not on me. It has a soft, matte finish and it does not look flat on the skin. Most full-coverage foundation impart a monotonous look, but not in the case of this one. Though it does not contain any sheen or shimmer, it still adds some dimension to the face on its own. You can start with medium coverage and then build it up to full coverage by adding layers. It covers all imperfections, like redness and acne marks; leaves a flawless, natural-looking finish behind. I barely need a concealer with this foundation. Also, it helps to create a smoother complexion and I am glad that with this foundation, my skin looks natural as well. Two to three layers of the foundation are good enough to impart full coverage. It does not look cakey or heavy on the skin. It smoothens the skin and hides the appearance of fine lines. It does not clog my skin pores nor it breaks me out at all.
Staying power of this foundation is for 6-7 hours on my combination skin with a primer underneath. But I personally feel that the longevity of this foundation could have been better. And the biggest con of this foundation is its non-waterproof formula. It melts easily when comes it comes in contact with water or sweat. This really disappointed me so much. I did not expect such results from a good brand. Overall, I have a kind of love-hate kind of relationship with this foundation. I loved the coverage, lightweight and non-cakey formula, but its tendency to melt easily is worst. It is not suitable for using during summers while going out in sun or somewhere, as it would melt easily, making my makeup look ugly.

Cons of Natasha Denona Foundation X:
- Does highlight dry patches of the skin, so prepping the skin well is recommended.
- Limited shades available.
- Hard to find a perfect match.
- Staying power could have been better.
- Not waterproof.
- Melts easily when it comes into contact with water.

Would I Repurchase Natasha Denona Foundation X?
Though I like this foundation but non-waterproof formula and melting tendency are huge drawbacks, and that’s why I would not really recommend this foundation.
