INR-700, I got it for 618 after discount (price varies online).
This came wrapped in a plastic covering only. The product is like a thick crayon and works with a twist up mechanism. The quality is good and there hasn’t been any problem with retraction of the bullet. It feels pretty similar to the other crayons available in market.
My experience with Natio Peony Smoothie Lip Colour Crayon:
I bought lip crayons in two shades- Peony and Tea rose and I was hoping that like the other Natio products, this won’t disappoint me either.
Peony looks like a very pale peachy colored bullet but they say, looks can be deceptive. It was kind of a surprise to me when it came as a light pink with blue undertones tint on lips. There is absolute no visible shimmer on the bullet itself but the color comes up in a very glossy finish on the lips. The color itself is nice and could be MLBB shade for a lot of females out there.
It is creamy and justifies the name Smoothie but then it was just like its other counterparts from Clinique or Revlon or L’Oreal, so nothing extraordinary. It is a dream to apply and there is no pulling or tugging during application. Feels extremely light on lips. It moisturizes pretty well though does not relieve dry lips and will accentuate every single dry patch, so it is better to exfoliate before taking the plunge.
It is sheer to slightly moderate. It has more of shine than color. It does not bleed but settles in lines.
One swipe deposits only about 50% of the color and it can be build up only to a certain extent. It doesn’t get cakey on multiple swipes, I’d say it would be perfect for office wear.Since I opted for a light color it showed up even lighter on my pigmented lips.
Now this is very impressive. For a light color it stayed fresh for only around for good 3 hours with light snacking in between and then it started to fade and settled in lines. Since it is light color, I didn’t expect longer staying power.
Now coming to a bad part – The bullet is very soft, yes very soft. It slipped off from my hands one day and I opened it find the bullet had become distorted, even though the cap was closed. I think it could be because of the ingredients but I never faced this problem with any other lip crayons that I have. This needs to be stored in refrigerator so I don’t think it will be my travel companion in my vacations.
Overall, the fact that it has a fragile bullet, settles in lines and does not help dry lips made me dislike it. The kind of moisturisation it provides and the color pay off can be compared to similar products by Revlon or L’Oreal. I will use it up but I am definitely not going to buy this again.
