The company claims that it is long lasting and is created with a waterproof and smudge proof formula that ensures it makes you look beautiful throughout the day, whatever the weather! Product Description:
A handy wind up lip pencil, with built in sharpener that coats lips with velvety smooth, long lasting colour. The water proof formula provides a smudge proof base for your lipstick application. With gentle mineral pigments and vitamin E, the nurturing formula defines lips, prevents lipstick bleeding into fine lines and helps it stay on longer. The inbuilt sharpener tapers the pencil to a soft sharp point for precise lip definition.

Packaging:
Packaged in a black coloured wind up pencil, with the lip liner shade band at the base. The cap closes firmly and the wind up pencil is retractable. Designed as a mechanical pencil which is easy to use and enables smooth application.

How to Apply:
Line lips and fill in the lips with the liner. Apply your favourite lipstick over for the perfect colour. For longer lasting lip colour, choose a liner shade of that matches your natural lip tone or lipstick colour.

My Experience with Natio Scarlett Long Lasting Lip Liner:

I have already used Revlon and Clinique lip liner, so this time I decided to buy a lip liner from Natio, since the company claims that their velvety smooth lip liner gives a precise, flawless application without feathering and that it has a waterproof and long lasting formula. Scarlett is a beautiful red shade with a tinge of orange. The texture is velvety and smooth, as claimed. Natio long lasting lip liner provides a long lasting wear and makes application easier and more precise.

The mechanical wind up concept makes it easy to use, and enables precise and smooth application without smudging. This shade is deeply pigmented and needs to be removed with a makeup remover. My concept of lip liner was only to outline my lips, because I have sensitive lips which tend to dry out easily and become patchy. This is the first lip liner with which I tried to fill in the lips because of the creamy texture. I first outline my lips, and then fill in my lips to create a base and then apply my lipstick.

It gives a long lasting effect to the lipstick and my lipstick does not smudge or spread. When applied directly, without a lip balm or a top coat of lipstick or lip gloss, it tends to make my lips dry and patchy. Even though it has a velvety soft and creamy texture, it is not very moisturising; lips feel dry and start peeling. However, when applied with a lip balm base, it does not dry my lips much. Scarlett is a beautiful shade and goes with some of my red lipsticks, both warm as well as cool toned.

It can be used with red lipsticks that have an orange tint and also with red lipsticks with blue or pink undertones.It does not smudge or transfer. It tends to lose its intensity after meals and leaves a stain, which needs to be removed with a makeup remover. Another drawback, every time I use this lip liner, the lip pencil keeps breaking into bits, sometimes once and sometimes several times. It is such a beautiful shade and hope could use it more often. Probably will have to stick to only outlining my lips. The hand swatch on my wrist is from the broken bits. A bold and beautiful shade.
