Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser Review

By Surabhi Singh

Today I am here with the review of Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser. I love using body washes, shower gels and body cleansers. When I saw this one online, the ingredients and packaging won my heart but what about the cleanser itself? Let’s find out.

Price: INR 715 for 210 ml
Product Description:
Pure foaming shower gel with natural aromatics to cleanse and invigorate. Certified organic Gingko Biloba, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Basil combine for a revitalising cleansing experience. Plant extracts cleanses your body, refresh your spirit and put a lively spark in your day.
An uplifting body wash with gentle, certified organic plant extracts to wash away daily stress and impurities. The ‘peppy’ natural aroma invigorates the senses and leaves a mild, cooling sensation on skin.

How to Use:
Squeeze a small amount of body cleanser onto hands or sponge and lightly massage onto moist skin, breathing in the uplifting aroma. Rinse off and enjoy fresh, clean skin.

My Experience with Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser:

Packaging:
I loved the packaging of Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser. This one comes in a glossy, lime colored plastic tube and has a flip cap, too. The flip cap opens and closes with a click sound, ensuring no spillage of the product. The tube is a little bulky than regular ones, but I will term it as travel-friendly. Product related information over the tube has been done in white and black font, giving it a classy look.

Consistency:
Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser comes in gel form. It is lightweight and has a pale yellow-greenish appearance. The texture of the body cleanser is smooth and quite runny; if you keep the open tube on a flat surface, the cleanser starts flowing out of it. I wasn’t even able to click the pictures of open tube lying on the table. I had to keep the tube in my hand to the prevent spillage.

Fragrance:
The fragrance has a blend of peppermint, lemongrass and eucalyptus with a hint of basil. However, the fragrance of peppermint and lemongrass is overpowering the others. For me, the fragrance is refreshing as I love peppermint and lemongrass.

Usage/Results:
I have been using the body cleanser for over three weeks now. I take a little amount on my Basicare Exfoliating Body Gloves and use this every day in the shower. I have to use a really small amount because it foams up very well. The peppermint smell helps my body and senses to wake up. I used to sip lemongrass tea, this cleanser reminds me of lemongrass during shower. The cleanser gives a sweet cooling sensation when I apply it on my body. I have a combination skin type and this body cleanser doesn’t dry out or over moisturise my skin. However, my back has become dry because of my ignorance.

This cleanser has improved the dryness of the back and now it remains well moisturised after the shower. So, I think the claim of ‘suitable for all skin types’ is genuine. It is easy to wash and cleanses the skin very well without leaving any residue. I apply Durvadi Keratailam, a medicated oil from Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala (I will review this soon) every night on the whole body. After taking a shower in the morning, I cannot feel even a little trace of oil on my skin. The organic oils in the body cleanser definitely cleanse the body and the fragrance refreshes my spirit. I have used many body cleansers till now and this one has become one of my favourites. It is must-have, in my opinion.

Overall:
Natio Spa Pep-Up Body Cleanser cleanses the skin very well, making it soft and smooth after every shower. It is suitable for all skin types.
