Hello Lovely Ladies!! Wish you a very happy Sankranti!!
Today I have come with a review of another gem of a product; this time for beautiful hands. I cannot stress strongly enough how important it is to keep your hands looking soft and young. Having a beautiful facial skin with wrinkled and dry hands; will be like being a beautiful peacock with ugly feet. And I am sure you don’t want that to ruin your happy dance. 🙂
Since, our hands are the most overworked and their skin most exposed to all sorts of chemicals, cooties and what not. Special care must be taken to exfoliate and hydrate them. Most of us hydrate our hands, but skip the exfoliation part, and trust me; it is the indispensible first step.
I have recently come across the Australian span and skincare giant Natio and have been absolutely wowed by their products! This time I am reviewing their Spa Recovery Hand Scrub. Let’s see how this product has faired for me.
INR 655 for 90gm
Hands will feel noticeably softer and smoother. With Sea Salt and Shea Butter to encourage skin renewal and help even out skin tone. Infused with invigorating natural essences of Orange and Lavender Oils.
Directions of Use:
Massage a liberal amount of product onto wet hands and rinse off with warm water.
My Experience with Natio Spa Recovery Hand Scrub:
The product comes in a handy and compact tube. The consistency of the scrub is like scrubby balm. Actually more like iodex balm. So, it is difficult to spread unless hands are nicely damp. Although semi solid on application it promptly melts on contact with skin. Then it starts releasing it’s oils and is spread easily and evenly.
The scrub particles are of the size of free lowing table salt. They are adequately coarse, but not too harsh. I rub the scrub gently in circular motions and actually feel that my dead skin is coming off. I have also felt noticeable increase in blood circulation with the scrub, which is a good thing. This means that without being harsh, it is able to perform it’s function quite well.
Now the fragrance of this product is not at all special. But, frankly who cares for fragrance in a hand scrub anyways. 🙂
I strongly recommend you rinse your hands with warm water for best effect. This would also open your pores and aid in better absorption of your hand cream. I also insist that you must use a hand cream after this scrub. As irrespective of all the oils, it does dry your skin out due to intense scrubbing. In fact, the best thing you could do is invest in hand spa gloves and liberally apply Vaseline on your hands and leave overnight. I am sure your hands then would be able to give any beauty queen a run for her money. 😉
Pros of Natio Spa Recovery Hand Scrub:
- Excellent scrubbing action.
- Mild and does not irritate the skin.
- Really gives a new lease to your hands – at Home spa/manicure.
Cons of Natio Spa Recovery Hand Scrub:
- Contains Mineral oil.
- Pricey for the quantity.
- Fragrance is not great.
Would I repurchase Natio Spa Recovery Hand Scrub?
I find it to be a decent enough product. I have recently discovered the importance of using hand scrubs and will continue to use them. However would want to try out different options available in the market, so would not repurchase this for now.
