Hi my sweeties,
Most of us are attacked by nasty pimples during our teens. For some, this suffering ends at that age only but for some it lasts forever. What hurts more is the scarring left behind. Today, I am sharing some natural remedies to get rid of those stubborn spots after the pimple is healed. Say hello to clean, clear and glowing skin with these natural solutions.
1. Apply rosehip seed oil
It doesn’t only promote a healthy glow on your skin but also helps in healing of the scars. 100% organic rose hip seed oil has essential fatty acids and high concentration of trans-retinoic acid, a natural form of vitamin A (often found in anti-aging serums and creams). It is lightweight quick absorbing oil. Apply it twice a day on the marks and lightly massage for deep penetration.
2. Get vitamin E capsules
If you have dry skin type then this remedy is going to work wonders for you. Vitamin E nourishes skin and promotes growth of cells. You can apply the content of the vitamin e capsule directly on the scars or you can mix it with a light moisturizer if you have an extremely oily skin.
3. Grow Aloe vera plant at home
Pure aloe gel is a blessing for acne scars. It also removes tan and pigmentation. Grow it at home so that your gel is free of harmful fertilizers and pesticides. It grows quickly and needs very less care. Apply fresh aloe gel on your cleansed skin. You can also add a drop or two of lemon juice, which has natural bleaching properties. Even the most sensitive skin loves aloe gel.
4. Fenugreek paste
Fenugreek seeds remove the scars of acne very effectively with their powerful anti-oxidants which heal skin quickly. Application of fenugreek paste reduces pimple inflammation. Take two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and boil them with 2 cups of water on medium heat. After that, let the mixture cool down and make a paste of it in a grinder. Store this paste in fridge and use before sleeping as a 12-15 minute leave on mask on your acne scars. Wash your face with luke warm water.
5. Turmeric and lemon juice paste
This paste is a great healer and has skin lightening properties. Turmeric has bioactive compounds and powerful medicinal properties. It contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. And lemon has vitamin C, so the mixture of these two kitchen ingredients works wonder in lightening acne scars. If your skin is sensitive to lemon juice, add honey to calm down its effect.
6. Almond paste
Soak almond overnight. In the morning, grind them to make a smooth paste; add some honey to it and then apply on your cleansed face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and see the difference; you’ll see soft, supple skin and less noticeable scars. Almonds are high in vitamin E and honey is a natural anti bacterial.
1. Prevention is better than cure so never ever pick on your pimples, because picking is what makes scarring worse.
2. Don’t keep touching your face to feel the bumpiness of pimple, you are transferring tons of bacteria.
3. Keep your cell phones clean.
4. Keep your hair off your face as much as possible.
5. Don’t use over-drying face washes containing alcohol.
6. Tea tree oil can be applied on growing pimples to keep their size from growing as it kills bacteria very fast.
7. Use homemade scrubs on an acne prone skin. They are gentler and moreover, chemicals aggravates acne even more.
