My Experience with Naturals By Watsons Marula Oil Hair Oil:
The hair oil comes in a caramel brownish colored translucent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle closes tightly with a yellow colored cap. The bottle bears all the necessary product related information on it. The brand has named this product as oil but, it is actually a hair serum kind of product. Overall, the packaging is good and travel-friendly. And, I do not have any complaint about the packaging at all.
I have short hair, which is too wavy and frizzy. I had to use hair serums to keep my hair frizz free. It requires a lot of effort to keep my hair at place. The hair oil is a clear liquid that looks almost like water. It has a mild and refreshing smell, which is absolutely non-bothering. The texture of the hair oil is also runny and very different from regular hair oils. The pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of the product that is required for my short hair, for one use. A little amount is good enough to work on my mid-length hair. One pump is good enough for me as using an excess of this product makes my hair greasy.
The hair oil makes my hair shiny and glossy instantly. It smoothens my hair nicely and helps to tame the frizz up to some extent. The formula is non-greasy hence, the hair oil does not weigh down the hair if it is used in small quantity. But, applying too much product weighs down the hair and makes them look greasy. It helps to keep my hair tangle free. It keeps my hair super soft and smooth that I keep running my fingers through my hair. It adds a little moisture to the hair. It feels so light.
The hair oil will be suitable for all scalp types, be it a dry one or oily. But, if you have very thin hair it will make the hair look limper. The key ingredients of this hair serum are natural ingredients such as marula oil, citronella oil that nourishes the hair deeply. So, I am actually happy with the product quality. But, the “Hair Oil” tagline is quite misleading. It is more like a hair serum and the usage instruction is also the same as we do with hair serums. The product claims to repair the damaged hair but, after the long use for more than one month, I had not noticed any significant difference in the quality of my hair.
