The Nature’s Company Rose Bath Salt Review

So, I could finally lay my hands on some Nature’s company products. Thankfully, they have an online store and I could order from there. I had to pay a good amount of shipping, but the only Nature’s company store I know of is very far from my house (and the petrol prices are killing), so I opted for online shopping 🙂  I am reviewing here today a rose bath salt I got.

Product Description:

Soak in the soothing, gentle cleansing properties of Rose Bath Salts. Its essential plant and flower extracts make it antiseptic and mildly astringent. The perfect way to restore your body and relax your mind. For a scented, pampering bath treat, sprinkle a small quantity into running bath water or an indulgent soak.

The Rose Bath Salt is from the “Atmospure” range from “The Nature’s Company.”  I think I saw one peppermint bath salt too on the website, but I would prefer to purchase that for summers.

Rs. 175 for net weight of 75 gm.

The bath salt comes in a long, see-through plastic tube with a blue cap. It looks simple and okay.  It reminds me of our chemistry lab test tubes 😀  :haanji:

I haven’t used bath salts before, so that was one reason I picked up this interesting product. I would have used it in my bath tub as instructed, but I guess the quantity in this pack I got would finish up in one use only if I tried mixing it in bath tub 😛

So, I worked my brain out and thought of using it as a foot soak :dumb: by mixing about 1 tablespoon of bath salt in water. The bath salt has a strong rose and some essential oil (can’t figure out the fragrance :|).  Anyway, I like the fragrance it has.

The Nature’s Company Bath Salt has dehydrated rose petals and some granules of salt which dissolve easily in water. I don’t see them creating any lather.

I get my pedicures done at home, so one time, I mixed some of this salt with the soapy water, but I could not see any “great difference” by adding it.

So, on another occasion, I decided to use this alone in water and dipped my feet in it. There was some rose fragrance that I enjoyed and my feet felt relaxed, refreshed. My feet looked slightly clean than before, but I really cannot comment whether it was this bath salt that worked or just soaking in water that had worked.

I sometime use this bath salt this way too, mix with some water to scrub my hands and I see it softens my hands nicely. I think, someday, I would try this bath salt out in my bath tub too, but for that, I would need to buy another one of this as I am already 3/4th way with my current pack.

Overall, I find this product is just another fancy-looking, self-pampering product. I would not say I am crazy about using it or I love it, but I may consider re-purchasing it. If you are fond of doing your pedicures on your own or in general you enjoy dipping your feet in foot soaks, you can give this a try, otherwise this is not a must-have product.

What I Like about The Nature’s Company Rose Bath Salt:

  • Nice rosy fragrance.
  • When used as a foot soak, my feet felt relaxed and refreshed.
  • I use it sometimes as a hand scrub and I like how it softens them.
  • Decent packaging.

What I Do Not Like about The Nature’s Company Rose Bath Salt:

  • I had to order online as Nature’s Company products are available only at their select outlets.
  • I find that the price you pay for this product is not justified for the quantity.

IMBB Rating:

2.75 on 5 :-* :-* :-*

P.S.:  The real rose petals are not included in the pack. They are for graphical representation only 😀
