I am exploring the skin care range of Nature’s Essence and after using their face wash, I wanted to try their scrubs. I am a great fan of scrubs as they are easy to use and are super effective. I am always in search for a body scrub and thus I bought the apricot face and body scrub from Nature’s Essence.  Read on more to know how it worked for me.

Price:

Rs. 75 for 60 gm.

Product Description:

Sun exposure, pollution and weather change make the skin layer dull and lifeless. Apart from regular cleansing, it is essential to clean the dead skin. Nature’s apricot scrub is based on the properties of apricot peel which deep cleanses the skin pores and dislodges the dead skin.  This makes the skin look more radiant, clean and radiant.

Key Ingredients:

Aloe vera juice, apricot oil, apricot grains and carrot seed oil.

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Apricot Face and Body Scrub:

This scrub comes in a normal tube with a flip cap, the packaging is sturdy and the cap closes with a click sound and is absolutely travel friendly. Like all Nature’s Essence products, it is the colorful packaging of the tube that actually attracted me other than those ingredients that they claim this scrub has 😛

Apricot Scrub 3

This scrub has a creamy texture with lots of apricot grains. I find the grains a bit coarse for using it as a face scrub, but for a body scrub, this is absolutely awesome. Being a creamy textured scrub, it leaves behind a very thin layer of oiliness on my face if used as a face scrub.

This scrub is a perfect body scrub as it has a bit of rough apricot grains and it scrubs my hands, feet and body perfectly, making my body squeaky clean. Thus scrub even removes my old tan and with regular use, it even improves my skin tone. During my pedicure and manicure sessions, this is my go-to scrub. After scrubbing, it also hydrates my body as it contains apricot oil and carrot seed oil.

Apricot Scrub 4

From the very first use, it starts working. Thought it is a dud if used as a face scrub, but if used as a body scrub, it works perfectly. I use this scrub once a week on my body and post washing, I don’t need a moisturizer. I often mix this scrub with my shower gel or face wash and it acts as a body polisher 😀

  1. Hey that’s a nice review. The texture of the scrub looks creamy. It will be good for my dry skin. Will give it a try (as a body scrub) 🙂

  2. i am also using this as a body scrub,i completely agree,it is useless for face..it makes face oily, not for oil skinned people.might work for dry skin
