Woah! That was quite a mouthful! Hello ladies! So I got this cream the other day just because, well I got bored using my Garnier BB Cream. I’d never heard or seen this product so thought of giving it a try. The product’s name kind of caught me too. High Definition Powder Cream seemed very interesting and new to me. Let’s see whether it lived upto my expectations or not!
Price: 145 INR for 40 gm
My Experience With Nature’s Essence InstaGlam High Definition Powder Cream:
This HD cream comes in a pinkish-purple-y colored plastic inverted tube. The cap twists twice and gets locked, which is super convenient. The front portion shows the product name and it says it contains Grape seed oil. The back part reveals other details about the product. There’s nothing too fancy about this product, but the packaging is definitely travel friendly and it won’t leak or get messy when thrown in your purse/bag.
I assumed this cream to be skin colored but its not. It’s pure white in color. The consistency is neither thin nor thick. It’s good enough. The formula is non sticky and a little product goes a long way. This tube will last me for most part of the year, I feel! When I saw that it’s pure white in color, I immediately thought that it wouldn’t blend properly and would leave a whitish cast on my face, hence I did not touch the product for a week. But then I finally gave in and tried it. You have to blend it in nicely. It takes time to blend properly because of its consistency and because it’s so white in color. It doesn’t leave a whitish cast-Thank Goodness for it. Also when you take pictures of yourself in Flash mode, your face won’t show a whitish cast which some products do, so it really is an HD cream!
The cream is very light and you don’t feel like you’ve applied anything on your face. Your face looks brighter and skin looks healthier. It gives the appearance of your skin but better, I really love that part about it. Some creams have the tendency to make you sweat a lot, but this one doesn’t make you sweat, again a plus. It has a very nice fragrance to it. It doesn’t linger much however, so sensitive noses won’t have any problem with the fragrance.
It says that ‘it magically transforms itself into a powder’-but I don’t think so! I applied this cream bare faced and my skin did not feel like it needs some moisture, so it does moisturize the skin. I don’t know how much it nourishes because how can I know that? It did not break me out and lasted for about 5-6 hours without re-touching. So yeah, it is long lasting. It claims to protect our skin from harmful rays of the sun, but I do use a sunscreen with it, just to be safe and I get tanned pretty quickly! :p
