Nature’s Essence Lilac Face and Body Lotion Review

Nature’s Essence Lilac Face and Body Lotion

Hello All!

Nature’s Essence is a brand that I’ve turned to, of late. They make excellent products which are affordable and normally work for most of the people. I’ve been trying their various products to see which ones work for me best. There were a couple of products that I didn’t like but I liked most of them. There’s one thing that I don’t like about this brand is that usually the products smell atrocious, but some of them smell okay too. Today I’ll talk about my experience with Nature’s Essence Lilac Face and Body Lotion, which lies in this okay-smelling category.

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Lilac Face and Body Lotion:

The product comes in a white bottle with a white screw on cap. Remove the cap and you find that the neck of the bottle has a plastic stopper fixed in it, on which you have to pierce a hole to let out the product. The lotion is white in colour and smells like some homeopathic creams do. On application, the smell lingers for some time before fading away slowly. The consistency is that of normal lotions, neither runny, nor thick. The skin absorbs it beautifully, not much rubbing in is required. This lotion is not at all oily or greasy, but it moisturizes the skin well. It does make the skin soft and supple to touch, as claimed on the bottle. Once applied it keeps the skin hydrated for around seven hours, without reapplication. However, I must add that my body isn’t dry. I don’t think this particular product will be able to keep dry skin replenished for such a long period of time. Also, it is not rich enough to be used in winters. It a light moisturizer that could be used in summers, or spring or whatever season is not cold. The product says that it is a face moisturizer as well, but my face is extremely oily and I don’t think this is suitable to be applied on oily skin despite it being non-oily and non-greasy. Normal skinned people could go ahead and try it. In short, it is too rich for oily skin and not rich enough for dry skin. Summing up, it is a good, affordable moisturizer for people with normal skin.

    1. Absolutely Saloni! They worked for me more often than not and I’m totally on the verge of becoming a brand loyalist. *happydance*

  2. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand and even tried one of their products which worked. I may give this a try as my HG product isn’t easily available here. *headbang* It’s hard to find products for normal skin and this sounds decent. *thankyou*
