Nature’s Essence Oxypeel Scrub
Hi,

Hope all of you are enjoying the summers. It is really hot and I am doing all that I can to keep myself fresh. I wanted to get the apricot face and body scrub reviewed by Sreya here. But, when I saw this scrub with the word ‘oxypeel’, I added it to my cart immediately .Read on to know how this product turned out for me.

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Oxypeel Scrub:
This is the first product that I have tried from Nature’s Essence brand. It comes in a cute tub packaging and it is quite difficult to get the product out of the tub. I use spoon or sanitized spatulas to take the product. It consists of a lid to prevent the product from spillage.
It is a cream based scrub with mild fragrance. Being oily-skinned, I was hesitant to use it on my face and used it as a body scrub few times. It is very mild on skin and I usually prefer coarse scrubs for my body. It spreads on easily and gives a glow to the skin .I can see improvement on my tanned feet.
I decided to try it on my face and used it. It did not make my skin greasy and I followed it up with Fabindia tea tree face wash and it gave a matte feel for more than 3 hours and I was pretty happy. I went to cleanse my face before sleeping and that is when I noticed 6-7 zits on my face. With the help of my derma, my face had been free from acne for the past few months and now I dare not to risk again with this scrub on my face. Waiting for the pimples to heal.
Let me list out the pros and cons:
Pros of Nature’s Essence Oxypeel Scrub:
1.Affordable.
2.Makes skin soft.
3.Mild on skin.
Cons of Nature’s Essence Oxypeel Scrub:
1. Broke me out.
2. Tub Packaging
3 .Only key ingredients are mentioned
4. Too mild to work as a body scrub.
5. Oxypeel is surely a marketing gimmick.
Overall, I think oily skinned and acne -prone beauties can stay away from this product. Dry skinned beauties can give it a try, it might work out for you.

like to differ bit – i also have oily acne prone skin, oxypeel scrub suits well in my case..is mild for face…compared to walnut scrubs we have. I hope you applied face pack or toner afterwards… it is important to close the pores and avoid going out for sometime to avoid dust etc…
Soundrya , have you tried Aromagic mint cleanser as well ? am planning to try that this summer.
ya nj,i did..don’t know y it broke me out:( i don’t want to try again on my face as i am getting married soon and no no to pimples and scars..
