Neutral Big Eyes Makeup Tutorial

Neutral Big Eyes Tutorial

Hi lovely ladies,

Today, I am super excited to share with you all an eye makeup I tried recently. Who doesn’t want to have big eyes? There are only few lucky people who are blessed with naturally big eyes, but most of us don’t but with makeup we can try to make them appear big 😀 I am not a makeup artist but with lot of trial and error I am learning things slowly and I should also mention IMBB family for the love and support. So here I am to share with you all. I really hope you all like it. This eye tutorial can be done with any colour eyeshadows of your choice. Read on to know more.

Step 1

Prime your eyes well – conceal dark circles if any and apply your eye primer.

Step 2

Apply an eye shadow which matches close to your skin tone. The eye shadow should be preferably matte. Pat the eyeshadow gently on your entire lid area. When applying base eyeshadows it is always better to pat them to get good intensity of colour than to apply in sweeping motion.

Step 3

To warm up your crease area, use a peach brown shade and blend it in the crease area with a wind shield motion.

Step 4

To define the crease even better, use a medium brown shade and blend it in the crease area over the peach brown. I always like to use matte shades in my crease area, the only reason behind it is it gives an impression of deep set eyes. If you want you can try a shimmer eye shadow too.

Step 5

Now we will do the eye brightening and making it appear big part. Use a gold shimmer eyeshadow and apply in the inner corner of your eye and line your lower lash line, stop it in the middle of the eye. Then pat the same eye shadow on the center of your eyes, do not pack the colour to full intensity but just give a bit of glow for the light to reflect back and make your eyes appear bigger.

Step 6

Apply matte nude kohl to your lower water line and then apply your favourite kohl to the lower lash line only at the corners to widen your eyes. If you want a natural neutral eye you can leave it here but I wanted to add a winged liner to create an illusion of wider eyes.

Step 7

To create a winged liner- draw a small line in an angle, imagine you are extending your lower lash line upwards. You can use a cello tape to act as a guideline.

Step 8

Draw an adjacent line from the middle of the eye connecting the line you created. Now you should get a triangular shape. Fill in the triangle. If you have done any mistake run the liner again and complete the winged liner. You can create a smaller wing also if you want to make this eye makeup to look subtler.

And you are done 🙂 hope you all like it 🙂
