My Experience with Neutrogena Beach Defense SPF 70 Sunscreen Spray:
Neutrogena beach defence sunscreen spray comes in a yellow cylindrical metal spray bottle with a plastic spray nozzle. The packaging is sturdy and leak proof. The bottle is very travel friendly and lightweight. The spray nozzle dispenses the sunscreen very evenly. The side of the bottle specifies the ingredient list. The sunscreen spray has light chemical fragrance to it which doesn’t bother me.
The sunscreen spray is very watery. It feels very lightweight. When you first apply the sunscreen spray on your skin, it feels very greasy; however, it gets easily absorbed into the skin and the greasy texture does fade away. I spray an even layer of this sunscreen on my hands and back and on the exposed skin. I don’t directly apply this sunscreen spray on my face. I spray a bit of sunscreen on hand and then apply it on my face. If you spray the sunscreen directly on the face, there are chances that you might accidentally spray it into your eyes and this causes a lot of irritation. This sunscreen doesn’t give any white cast. I apply the sunscreen half an hour before I go out.
The sunscreen has a great amount of SPF 70. It provides a good coverage under the scorching sun. I have applied this sunscreen during the peak hours of 12 to 3 pm in the pool or beach. This sunscreen is specifically created to be used in the swimming pool and beach. It’s water resistant. I did see mild tanning after a whole day under the sun; however, I didn’t see any sunburns. Even though the sunscreen is very greasy, it didn’t cause me any skin breakouts. I do reapply the sunscreen after every three hours. This has helped me a lot to keep the sun burns at bay.
Overall, I am really happy with this sunscreen. It’s very convenient to spray the sunscreen all over the body.
