I am back with another review and this time I have makeup remover wipes 🙂 I just love makeup remover wipes as they are so quick and hassle free, and great for cleansing on-the-go, short travels, gym bags or for those lazy nights when directly jumping to bed is the only thing you want rather than following the CTM routine.  After using Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, which I loved to the core, I picked up the “night calming” variant. Let us see, how this one fared. 🙂

My Experience with Neutrogena Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes:

Neutrogena night calming makeup remover cleansing towelettes comes in a lavender-colored plastic pouch packaging. It has a sticker attached on the opening and not a plastic panel. I personally prefer the panel opening since it prevents wipes from drying out for long as the glue on the sticker may give away much before all the wipes are used up. And since I did face this issue with the Neutrogena hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes pack, I was skeptical while picking this one up, but I had loved them so much and hence gave this one a try.

The wipes are white in color and 7.4”*7.2” in size which is pretty good for a single use. The wipes are soft and are not harsh or abrasive on the skin. These are plain wipes and not exfoliating ones. They are thick enough to hold the cleanser and does not tear up during use. One towelette can be used from both the sides.

As far as its makeup removing capability goes, these wipes are pretty good but not like the hydrating ones. They remove all the long-wearing makeup, including my sunscreen, long-wearing matte lipsticks, waterproof eyeliner and mascara. They are gentle enough to be used on the eye area and I have used them to remove makeup from my waterline too, without any stinging or discomfort. As for the waterproof mascara, I keep the wipe over my eyes for a few seconds and wipe my lashes gently rather than rubbing them back and forth, but with heavy makeup, at least two wipes are needed to get everything off the face. It didn’t leave my skin squeaky clean with a single wipe as the hydrating ones did, probably because they are little bit dry when compared with the hydrating version.

The wipes have a mild, refreshing fragrance which does calm and soothe my senses. They are hydrating in nature and leave my face moisturized, but less than the hydrating ones. So, I am good with using them in summers, but in winters, my dry skin would need extra moisturizer with them, but they do not leave any greasy or oily layer on my face and hence will be great for normal skinned girls as well. Also, they did not break me out, so suitable for sensitive skin too.

• There a sticker opening provided to get the wipes out, which would dry out in the long run.
• The moisturisation that it provides will not be enough for dry skinned girls, especially in winters.

Would I Repurchase Neutrogena Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes?
I liked these wipes, but any day, I would pick the hydrating variant over these, my skin loved that more. 😀 But I would definitely recommend these to everyone, especially girls with normal skin.
